Elizabeth Masterson (Reese Witherspoon), a dedicated Doctor in San Francisco, had almost no time for anything. When her sister with two kids set her up on a date, she gets into a tragic car crash and gets in a coma. Meanwhile, an artist named David Abbott (Mark Ruffalo) moves into San Francisco and coincidentally, into Elizabeth's apartment for rent. While at the apartment, Elizabeth's spirit haunts him. She doesn't remember who she is, who her family is, and what she did - All that she remembered was her apartment and where everything was. To settle the arguments, Dacid agrees to figure out who Elizabeth really is. When they get close to figuring out who she is, they eventually find love in each other and as they finally know who she really is, they learn that fate really has put them both together.

When I went to see this movie, I went with high hopes and I was not disappointed
. I like Reese as an actor, and I'm becoming a fan of Mark Ruffalo
. Reese, as always, was the perfect
main character that you just fell in love right from the start and I like Mark
ability to be a very physical player, Just Like Heaven took advantage of
wonderful. The film of the story is good, it does have a
spin a little predictable, but what the film does not? The
acting very well done, I have not laughed that much in a very long time and
Reese and Mark have a great chemistry on screen.
If you are looking for a good Chick Flick to make you laugh, mourn and feel
every move in an intermediate point, this is a great movie for you.
He has just seen a preview for this movie last night, and I must say I can not wait to see
again. Usually, I am not a big fan of "otherwordly"
type films, but this is an original and fun. Mark Ruffalo and Reese Witherspoon
have great chemistry, and the script is smart. He is a
depressed landscape architect trying to get their lives back together;
she is a disgruntled spirit, wondering what we ever happened to yours. After
their initial frustrations (she hates the way he does not use coasters or
collecting garbage in his apartment, he hates the way it appears unannounced on what
now considers his apartment) seeking to join the
course of events that have left at its current state of limbo.
What I loved about this movie is David and Elizabeth progression
animosity to a genuine affection, as, alternately Pester
then rely on each other. The becomes devoted to trying to help, despite
appear crazy to everybody in San Francisco, with the exception of a wonderful
extravagant psychic bookstore clerk played by Jon Heder (Napoleon aka
Dynamite.) Not since Patrick Swayze quarrel with
Whoopi Goldberg in "Ghost" I was so much fun in a spirit disturbing a mere mortal. This is a great
Chick Flick, but pleasant to work out a date, too. Just
have a tissue handy!
