The teenage DJ is observing his neighbor Nebbercracker on the other side of their street in the suburb that destroys tricycles of children that trespass his lawn. When DJ's parents travel on the eve of Halloween and the abusive nanny Zee stays with him, he calls his clumsy best friend Chowder to play basketball. But when the ball falls in Nebbercracker's lawn, the old man has a siege, and sooner they find that the house is a monster. Later the boys rescue the smart Jenny from the house and the trio unsuccessfully tries to convince the babysitter, her boyfriend Bones and two police officers that the haunted house is a monster, but nobody believes on them. The teenagers ask their video-game addicted acquaintance Skull how to destroy the house, and they disclose its secret on the Halloween night.

First, let me establish that I have never been impressed by the
3D process. The best thing I saw was "Ghosts of the Abyss
" but there are still many problems to my eye really buy
in the process. I never had a chance to see "Polar Express" in 3D,
but not really too anxious because of my previous
lackluster responses to the 3D experience. Then came "Monster House "....< br>
I've never seen anything like this before. The story itself is very entertaining and
that recalls the kind of movie that Steven Spielberg
had done in the early 80's, but the 3D element does
is an event! If you have an option to see this in a theater or
3D, please see it in 3D! From the moment that comes in
title screen, I knew it was going to see a level of realism in the 3D process
that he had never experienced before. In fact, watching "Monster House" in a theater
could be similar to seeing all of "The Wizard of Oz" in
white and black. It would severely diminish the potential impact of
film. "Monster House" was, obviously, is seen as an experience and 3D
the technical process that the envelopes in history and the world in which
is conducted in a manner that is immediately and palpable.
If you think that only the technique is worthy of praise, let me mention that
the script, performances, direction, the score was
all the fun, adventurous spirit all the best movies I remember from my youth
. It has the feeling of "ET", "The Goonies", even a little bit of
"Poltergeist", only much more suited to children. The film is not
extraordinary, but it is a omprobar a lot of fun. Therefore, a giddy 8
stars of the film, but an enthusiastic 10 stars of the experience. PLEASE

In almost any neighborhood, there's always that one house, or
dwelling unit, which has spiritual connotations attached to it.
This may be because of the tragedy, or rumors, or just for the simple reason that
is unoccupied, or has some elderly, probably unkindly,
strange looking old folk who live in it, gives you the creeps
to anyone under the age of 10.
In Monster House, which uses a familiar urban legend, and plays up the
nastiness associated with such a location. DJ (Mitchel Musso) stays
front of a creepy looking house, and is witness, through his telescope
of things that go bump in the night, and the horrible things that
ago. Natually, it is a kid, nobody cree,
save for a good friend-cum resident fat boy loser Chowder (Sam Lerner).
The history of the minimum for establishing a day before Halloween, and despite
children who are stereotyped, Chowder really stole the show with his DJ
time innocents , When Sly and cunning antics, and
there is a good tango for attention between the two boys and their
crush of the moment - Jenny (Locke Spenser). Thus, while the three of them get
established to unravel the mystery of the Monster House, which does not disappoint, with
fights, laughter and budding romance, like chemistry between
Potter, Ron and Hermione. Hmm .. Now that I have mentioned,
seemed more like a clone of Harry Potter.
graphics require some getting used to, since it is deliberately
not done in a cutesy manner, which comes across sometimes
quite stiff. Come to think of, there is no artificially created "cute"
character in the film as it adapts the "real life" as best they could,
in a lively manner. And for a horror movie, who put his real life counterparts
of shame, especially in its anticipation build in mood and the atmosphere
.
In any case, the trailer does not give much away, except for
whet their appetites, so I'll keep it that instead of
inadvertently reveal any surprises. And if you're undecided between the two animated flicks
in offering this week in local cinemas, then my advice would be
