'From Dusk Till Dawn "is a brilliant, brutal, bloody, Tarantino,
horror, silly and fun. It's brilliant, brutal, bloody, terror,
silly and fun the way Sam Raimi 'Bad Dead'-series is all
things, the spin here is a script written by Quentin Tarantino.
This means that the first hour that is more brutal and bloody, sometimes a little fun
in 'Pulp Fiction' kind of way.

We see two brothers named Seth (George Clooney) and Richie Gecko
(Quentin Tarantino). They are bank robbers, but the
well as the occasional murder. We learned that want to reach the Mexican border
. That entire state of Texas and the FBI are looking for them
is a problem for the strength of the Fuller family to carry them across the border with

. Not long after they are inside it is evident that all crew members
member of the bar is actually a vampire, feeding themselves
to cyclists and truckers who visit the place. Geckos
Fullers and survive together with a guy who calls himself Sex Machine (Tom Savini) and a boy named
Frost (Fred Williamson). Now they are a team and face
vampires as their opponents.

see how this movie is actually two films. Especially the second part
is less audience and in a way that I was a little curious
how the first part would have ended if it remains as serious as it was
. However, because the film changes the way that makes it becomes quite
original. We have a crime to start the film and a comedy horror, really
Sam Raimi the way until the end. If they are able to understand how that comes
not too serious, there is a good chance you might like. Even the gore
is presented in an amusing way, making it less bloody.

Clooney's cool performance, installation of soundtracks,
some hilarious moments, Tarantino penalty affects all make this a very original, very bloody
, vampire - adventure. If you're a fan of gender is not lost,
if you could give it a chance and be pleasantly surprised.
Directors Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino are probably the two most recognizable faces
generation of filmmakers that had its start in
independent scene of the early 90. Rodriguez had a
tremendous success with its western inspired by the action film "El Mariachi"
while Tarantino came to fame and glory after updating
heist films in "Reservoir Dogs" ;. His friendship lead them to make films together
starting with "Four Rooms", but along with makeup teachers Kurtzman,
Nicotera and Berger, the two young directors developed
one of the most original films of 90 years: "From dusk until dawn."

The plot begins with the escape of two criminal brothers, Seth (
George Clooney) and Richard Gecko (Tarantino himself) and his effort to reach
Mexico kidnapping of a family faith-less
preacher named Jacob Fuller (Harvey Keitel) who was travelling with her daughter
Kate (Juliette Lewis) and his son Scott (Ernest Liu). In their flight
the group reach a Mexican strip club where nothing is what seems

History (Kurtzman) is a very good mix of action, western and horror
intelligently drawn up by Tarantino's ingenious script. Rodriguez
direction gives the film the 70's a feeling that the film gives a
Drive-In spirit quite in tune with the plot. In fact, sometimes
the film feels like an updated version of the exploitation of action films
that era. This lack of pretensions makes it even more enjoyable because
never tries to be something more than pure entertainment.

The film is interesting split in two, the first half
dedicated to the establishment of relations between the characters, especially
complicated clash of the geckos and the Fullers, in a typical Tarantino
style crime / drama of fashion, on the other hand, the second half is a
action by the thrill ride in the style of the 70 action movies
clearly shows that John Carpenter ' s influence on Rodriguez. While
is definitely a tribute to their influences, the Rodriguez / Tarantino team
create a solid film that is in your own as a very original take
horror films.

He is very effective, with George Clooney carry the film as the head of
cool older brother who has to look after his younger brother
psychotic. Tarantino is the average, but he was certainly
fun with the role. Keitel is terrific as always and is perfect as the
faithless shepherd who does not trust in God anymore. Apearances
of Salma Hayek and makeup Tom Savini virtuous
have small but memorable roles. Savini steals the movie in his role as a cyclist
that brings back memories of his part in the Romero classic "Dawn of the Dead." All in all
is very complete and solid cast that certainly gives the film a
special flavor.

the KNB special effects are first class, but the CGI used in some scenes
is poor compared to traditional prosthetic makeup
employed in the rest of the film. While violence is never the intention
to be realistic, the poor CGI sometimes make more cartoon-like
that what was supposed to be, but is not a real defect and damaging the
film is still very pleasant.

Rodriguez has always made movies for fun, and this is what has set
distinguishes it from other filmmakers (including Tarantino). His lack of pretensions
and his dedication to his craft seems to convey the fun he has
make films for the audience that watches. Although his films May
not have an in-depth introspection or a high philosophical sense,
running smoothly as entertainment of the highest quality. This film is probably underestimated
one of its best and most entertaining films of his young career
