After her divorce, Meg Altman and her daughter Sarah move into an old-fashioned house with one very modern addition: a "panic room" which is virtually impossible to break into, designed for refuge during a home invasion. In their first night in the house a trio of thieves do break in and Meg and Sarah rush into the panic room. However, the intruders are looking for something inside the panic room, and given the recent move the room's hotline to the police hasn't been hooked up yet. Worse, Sarah is diabetic and the room doesn't contain any sugar...

I like the idea of the Panic Room, but the room itself has to be much better than
than that in the film. And too many things in the movie not
fazer sense: (possible spoilers, so do not read on if you do not want
be broken, but the movie is so predictable anyway)

1. You call 911 and get on hold after you told your address and
is an emergency?
2. Cell phones do not work in the room? If this was a room designed for
purpose, as described in the beginning of the film, should not be
cell phones usable in it?
3. Is it not obvious that just kill all the surveillance cameras around the house
for people in the room not knowing what you're doing?
4. You can not say Jodie Foster policemen or signal something from something
she was in the room before and should know that you can not hear from inside the
your room?
5. How can someone get smashed on the head like that not only do not die, but
still has the power to fight for someone and try to kill
?
etc.etc. please write a script better next time Fincher.

When critics fail to be kind enough to David Fincher. I've heard is a
omprobar of guy, and actually swell the parties, but this was weak. And how
nobody gives David Koepp $ 4 mil for this piece of garbage. I've seen this movie
at least a million times and usually on TV for free! Not
studio executives watch movies these days.
Firstly, I want to know if the public were on the edge of your seat
- because the theater needs more chairs. The audience I saw this
not make a stink with PEEP all the time except for the occasional groan
.
forget that the film was boring. Forget that the greatest tragedy throughout the
the film is not about whether someone was going to get in or out of panic
room - but rather whether a couple will get his shot insulin - < br> speak of a cheap plot twist - and the ridiculous sub B-movie twitching
which had been done - (when someone is slipping into a coma
not flop around like somebody at a low rent sci-fi movie) - what the H is the
deal with that ending!

Am I really supposed to believe that a thin little doubt as Dwight Yokum
- Nearly broke his hand in the door - loses a pint of blood -
then struck in the head with a sledgehammer to the entire force - fell
flight of stairs and still can get up and put Jodie Foster's ass - even
although it has not been injured throughout the movie - (around the world receives a beating but it
) - Jeez - that the line of Jim Bob Briggs-earth. And insofar as the
twist Forrest Whittaker returns and saves the day - so
could have a little punch if it were not so Telegraph in the moments before
entered the room. I mean I've seen before - but Fincher
really have to show their turn his head to hear the noise inside and then hesitate
in the fence !!!!! Lame - lame - lame!
People (and I include myself here) who are never going to get decent movies
if we continue to accept this rubbish as the defense, then it tells us
comes with a pedigree. This is the same movie we've seen for years.
If this is a thriller or a Slasher (and are actually becoming
the same thing at this time) I get B-grade drivel. And we, as an audience
to continue to accept. And until we say enough
this is what we are going to arrive!
Boycott drivel now.
