Deerhaven has been burdened by disappearances for more than two decades and local officials have come up empty as no trace of the missing have ever been found. An eccentric psychiatrist with questionable credentials comes to town implicating the local mortician, Henry Parks. Claiming to be Henry's former doctor from a facility where Henry had been institutionalized, Dr. Gronig suggests that the mortician may not have been suitable for release and may be using his father's parlor as a cover for deeper, darker things. During the same week four young college students plan for the local Friday night bash, but Monte has bigger plans for them. He wants to do something different and takes them from party to the local mortuary for a kinky midnight treat. The problem is that some of the doctor's implications may have been true and for Monte, Sky, Tina and Tony, this will be a night they will never forget. That is if they survive.

Mortuary is a horror film with the atmosphere of mystery, some gore and zombies
scenes. The story is strange and, indeed, quite cliches. A
the family moved to a small town where they plan on starting a new life while running
funeral. The location seems to be pursued in the field. The
first half of the film is atmospheric and well developed. The
is surprisingly good and convincing and all the characters are quite lively. The old house surrounded
neglected cemetery seems to be really
SPOOKY. The problems begin during the second half of the film when the film tries
be more brutal and extreme. That part is certainly underdeveloped
and pretentious as the origin of a black fungus has never been explained
. In addition, the characters are behaving in a stupid, illogical, which
really hurts in this picture. With regard to technical aspects of the film is
, cinematography and makeup of zombies are good. However,
terrible effects CGI completely ruin the end of the film. Although in many ways
ridiculous and wrong, is a dignified funeral, quite afraid
horror movie that can only recommend to horror fans. However,
He expected much more from Tobe Hooper.
Do not let the name Hooper attraction that stinks in this pile of crap. Simply awful-
has a plot line that is nothing but a mess (is this a film about a fungus
