Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back is a tale of adventure on the open road. When Dante and Randal (of Clerks fame) get a restraining order to keep the punchy Jay and his hetero life-mate, Silent Bob, from selling drugs in front of the Quick Stop convenience store, their lives are suddenly empty. They find new purpose when their friend, Brodie, informs them a movie is being made featuring two infamous characters based on their likenesses. After visiting one of the creators of the Bluntman and Chronic, Holden McNeil, they set out to get what fat movie cash they deserve and hopefully put an end to people slandering them on the Internet. Along the way, they learn the rules of the road from a hitchhiking George Carlin, ride with a group of gorgeous jewel thieves, and incur the wrath of a hapless wildlife marshal for liberating an orangutan named Suzanne. The quest takes them from New Jersey to Hollywood where a showdown involving the police, the jewel thieves, and the Bluntman and Chronic filmmakers will decide the fate of Suzanne, Jay, Silent Bob, and their good names.

much will depend on whether or not you like the director Kevin Smith. For my part, I think
the guy is a genius. If not congratulate my mind his name, read on. First,
a little background for the uninitiated.
Kevin Smith's movies (Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, and now JSBSB)
are a world created by the director himself, in the sense that everyone is
Interconnected by the characters, plot points, and subtle references. The only constant
, however, is the entity known as Jay and Silent Bob, a couple of pot
dealers who have more or less spent his entire life standing in front of
the Quik-Stop Shop of convenience. Jay (Jason Mewes) is the long hair guy
all knew in high school, his endless sequence of four-letter epithets
beloved almost ridiculous because the boy simply did not know anything better.
Silent Bob (played by director Kevin Smith), Jay of the self-described `
hetero life-mate 'means without speaking a word and offer some kind of moral counterpoint to
the duo.
Smith "Chasing Amy, 'Holden and Banky (Jason Lee and Ben Affleck,
respectively) created a comic book entitled" Bluntman and Chronic' Based on his real life friends
Jay and Silent Bob. Fast-forward to
`Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back '.
Banky has sold the rights to his comic portrayals of Miramax, leaving
Jay and Silent Bob in the dark about the business. Jay and Bob, with the help of
Holden, discovering through the Internet ( `What is the Internet?" Requests Jay)
that a film based on them is about to start production. Aware that
not see a penny of money, and even more annoying for his defamation
Internet bulletin boards, decide truck across the country to stop the film

It is important to note that while the comedy is crude, slapstick, and even
resorts to fart jokes, is not stupid comedy, satire in which the best, reminiscent of that
self-deprecating masterpieces like "Pee-Wee's Big Adventure
'and` Blazing Saddles'. After the fairly serious "Chasing Amy" and the Overton
spiritually 'Dogma,' we see that Smith has decided to
get together with friends and together in a big joke.
Fortunately, it was decided to let some of us by him. The viewer
enjoyment of the film will depend entirely on their knowledge
Smith from previous films and characters.
Smith's friends appear in cameos, from Chris Rock to Will Ferrell for
Alanis Morrissette to Carrie Fisher with Mark Hamill (Smith is an infamous
Fans of Star Wars). You can see literally a man in his childhood dream come true when
at any given time, Bob Smith's gets to wear in a lightsaber duel with
Hamill.
Local interest: In one of many subplots, a group of jewel thieves female lead
Jay and Silent Bob to our own Boulder, Colorado, to steal a monkey of a facility
of medical tests. "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" is a comedy
, and not try to be something else. The only thing I felt was missing
is one of Jason Lee inspired monologues
bitterly bemoaning the state of society. Some of Shannon Elizabeth screen time could have been
cut, I felt, for any brand Smith dialogue.
Smith now intends to focus on its most dramatic moment persecution, and we are
since this is the fifth and final film in his so-called `Jersey Trilogy '.
The bottom line is, Smith loves his fans, and this film was created for the
loyalists. A fitting send-off of Jay and Silent Bob, this film has an `A-'.
For the record, I have not seen Kevin Smith earlier works, employees,
Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma or that, I'm almost positive, how I hit
saw the film, as Smith puts in so many jokes in
and references to his previous films, I have not had them, except for the blatantly obvious
.
Jay (Jason Mewes) and Silent Bob (Kevin Smith) hang out in front of a
convience store selling weed. When obtaining a restraining order, are
that the cartoon starring their similarities Bluntman and Chronic
is being turned into a film by Miramax. However, are not being paid for it, so what
to do? Travel cross-country to Hollywood from New Jersey to end the film
to obtain, what else?
crude, inappropriate, and a lot of fun. If there is ever a film
you should see your drinking with friends and not with a date or family,
this is the one! Have jokes about genetalia, bodily functions, the insinuations, and
more, and I have not laughed this hard in a movie for a long time. Call me
immature, but I like this kind of thing, you really have
substance behind the crude jokes (not as Old School).
f-Mewes was hilarious when ff say the f-word-each-f
word. It has more than 230 f-words throughout this film, with the total number of curses
probably around 300. I've never heard so many, but I laughed.
I am not ashamed to admit it: I cracked Mewes, with its arrogance and style
foul mouth. Smith, who was laconic for almost the entire film, expressed
around with their eyes, they were fun. There were more than a film cameos
The Simpsons, with Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, George Carlin,
Jamie Kennedy, Chris Rock, Tracy Morgan, Joey Lauren Adams, and many, many more

There were many shots pot of American films. For example, when Jay and Silent Bob
meet a drug dealer played by Tracy Morgan, said that Miramax
represents approximately 75% of their income. In addition, all on-screen looks at the camera when
mentioned, `No one would pay to see a Jay and Silent Bob
film, 'and when Ben Affleck says that one of the reasons you do is an image
because you owe a friend a favor. As the Bluntman and Chronic
movie premieres, someone says, `Well, it's better than Mallrats'.
Are you easily offended? Does the mention of various body parts bothers you?
If you answered yes to any question, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back
is not your movie. If your answer is no, sit down and enjoy the journey
!
