Download Movie Kingdom of HeavenIt is the time of the Crusades during the Middle Ages - the world shaping 200-year collision between Europe and the East. A blacksmith named Balian has lost his family and nearly his faith. The religious wars raging in the far-off Holy Land seem remote to him, yet he is pulled into that immense drama. Amid the pageantry and intrigues of medieval Jerusalem he falls in love, grows into a leader, and ultimately uses all his courage and skill to defend the city against staggering odds. Destiny comes seeking Balian in the form of a great knight, Godfrey of Ibelin, a Crusader briefly home to France from fighting in the East. Revealing himself as Balian's father, Godfrey shows him the true meaning of knighthood and takes him on a journey across continents to the fabled Holy City. In Jerusalem at that moment--between the Second and Third Crusades--a fragile peace prevails, through the efforts of its enlightened Christian king, Baldwin IV, aided by his advisor Tiberias, and the military restraint of the legendary Muslim leader Saladin. But Baldwin's days are numbered, and strains of fanaticism, greed, and jealousy among the Crusaders threaten to shatter the truce. King Baldwin's vision of peace--a kingdom of heaven--is shared by a handful of knights, including Godfrey of Ibelin, who swear to uphold it with their lives and honor. As Godfrey passes his sword to his son, he also passes on that sacred oath: to protect the helpless, safeguard the peace, and work toward harmony between religions and cultures, so that a kingdom of heaven can flourish on earth. Balian takes the sword and steps into history.

Kingdom of Heaven in 2005 was the Gladiator in 2000.
Ridley Scott has delivered a worthy follow-up to his Oscar winner, who is also
basa in medieval times, with a heroic character, and
supporting casts of characters based on history.

sets are so spectacular, rather than just Rome and Collesuem
have the Middle East and Jerusalem. The costumes are beautiful, intricately
renew Knights armour, the Desert Warriors
Muslim dress. La banda sonora is a mixture of sounds with the Middle East
influences, but somehow pales in comparison with Gladiator
and lacks a central theme.

Much is said about how the film portrays the religion, given the delicate issue of
the Crusaders, but I think Ridley
has achieved a wonderful balance between how Christianity and Islam is portrayed.
Both are given fair airtime to their ideologies, and the film tries to preach
(pardon the pun) on tolerance, however, highlights the dangers of fanatical followers
of both religions, misguidance
of men in search of worldly power.

What Christianity took a beating - senseless
where battles are fought in the name of Christ, where the insensitivity breed contempt. Preists
are cast in negative light and given lines like "convert to Islam, repent
later" when all seems lost. It emphasizes that the show
is what matters in your head and your heart - that the noble
actions speak louder than mere empty and repetitive "praise the Lord" chants, as
that if you are protected during Judgement Day.

Orlando Bloom plays Balian, a blacksmith who became a fugitive, but
inherited land and the army of his father, Godfrey, played by Liam Neeson
. The film can be broadly divided into 3 acts - the first to
Balian you are looking for their identity and their new life in Jerusalem,
second in which the focus is on religion and politics of the time, and
the past, the spectacular siege and war.

Bloom puts a commendable performance, as far as his detractors
out there, you're in for a big surprise. Edward Norton had the difficult task of
act through a mask as a leper King Baudouin, and I applaud
Ridley decision of the casting real actors Muslim to learn from them.

Fans of Eva Green might be disappointed that the relationship between Balian
and Queen Sibylla was played to focus on the battles, but I'm
which is a free and fair trade.

Firstly, some of you might not like the fast court in MTV style editing
Gladiator fight scenes, especially the close ups. This is repeated
although here in a sample of blood splattering. The bread-and generally
landscape sweeps are mindblowing, and will leave you wanting more.
Think of the battles you see Lord of the Rings Two Towers and
Return of the King - the site at Helm's Deep and Minas Tirith -
Kingdom of Heaven offers the equivalent, probably even better < br> (without the elements of fantasy). This is a medieval war, whose film
battles remain in his mind for some time.

The public were the only disappointing experience for me - that
laughing at a dialogue near the end, when a "gentleman" asked that Balian
was, and he replied " ; I am the blacksmith, "in which the" gentleman "
replied" I am the King. " Laughter will abound in the theater.
I was like, hell-O people! See lion that because of their armor? That's Richard
Corazon de Leon! D'UH! The Crusaders did not end there, waged in ...

What is the value of Jerusalem? Nothing, everything. Watch this, and in my opinion
has Oscar written all over it. Now hit the library and
more research on the subject!
"Why was the Crusader brave then the pirate? Because he fought,
not for himself but for the Red. What strength is that he met with a value
as reckless as his own? The strength of men who fought,
not for themselves but for Islam. Spain took from us, although we were
fighting for our own homes and homes, but when we, too, fought by the powerful idea that
, a Catholic Church, which swept back to Africa ".

Obviously, director Ridley Scott does not agree with this somewhat simplified
the philosophy expressed by Shaw through his character Don Juan.
In "Kingdom of Heaven", wars and battles are fed by an assortment of motivations
including land, money, political considerations,
natural desire of violence, lust for fame The love of ordinary people, among other
. More importantly, this "idea" thing does not preclude
leaders practise tolerance, reaching compromises and even
recognizing equality with alien religions, as the film tries to show us.

Recognizing that this movie is a mixture of historical facts and dramatized
fiction, I want to focus on one aspect of the much rarer
hero Balian (Orlando Bloom), a blacksmith and inherit a knight
estate of a father who appears out of the blues. As Balian takes over the barren desert
estate after the untimely death of newly discovered
father, he does something that it appears that the father was unable fazer in all these years - digging into the earth to find a
reliable source of water and proceed to make the mass production. Later, resisters
defending Jerusalem as largely due to Balian knowledge of the practice
laws of mechanics and their military capabilities. After all, he inherited
away from the gentleman and return to being a blacksmith
, taking with him a queen. The triumph of the working class, as my summary suggests
line.

representation of the arch opponent Saladin remains much the line taken
in the novels of Sir Walter Scott (another Scott here!)
including "The Talismán" as a mysterious (
far is almost ubiquitous - in the novel), but wise and benevolent, one
breed of political leader who is, unfortunately, scarce today. The hero
Balian, as mentioned, has little interest in divinity and each
interest in the welfare of the people. These two leaders, put
in the current context, could qualify "Kingdom of Heaven" for a fairy tale.

It's hard not to compare the attack in Jerusalem with
the attack of Minas Tirith, and this comparison can be interpreted as a compliment
unreservedly in the Kingdom of Heaven. Another
comparison can be done is the representation of a powerful army, made
unimaginatively similar in two films last year. In the Kingdom of Heaven,
see first a solitary figure on horseback in a remote mountain lake.
"Saladin's army of 200 thousand is here," said Balian. "There is only one person
," comes the reply of a follower. "No, they're all here," Balian
quietly replies, at which point the camera angle
begins to rise, first to reveal the patch behind the mountain lagoon, filled with
soldiers. Then, as the horizon of our vision continues to expand,
layers of mountains and valleys continue to emerge, along with
Saladin's powerful army deployed in a seemingly disorganized, but ultimately
strategic fashion. This must be seen to appreciate.

of the cast, I must mention the first Edward Norton. As the leper King of Jerusalem
, appears all the time behind a mask that covers his entire face
, showing only their eyes with disfigured corners. But
is the voice that is so mesmerizing. From Fight Club, the voice of Norton
has a mild timbre that sounds like him, there is behind
tantalizing hints of subtlety, intrigue, compassion, power, and twenty other different
and conflicting emotions at once.

Bloom grows in his role, starting rather expressionless (
that can not be totally unreasonable given that the character
just lost a wife and one child), but little by little gain in confidence.
Liam Neeson and Jeremy Irons, playing father and mentor, respectively,
are not exactly the most difficult parts in his career. Eva Green
maintains the challenge girlish The Dreamer, but he added
maturity and charm to the role of Sibylla (portrayed as
the script, but not necessarily as recorded in history) . And there are
good old Brendan Gleeson, in the usual role of big bully fighter
he has perfected in Gangs of New York and Troy.

Kingdom of Heaven is a cut above Troy and Alexander last year.
