I had never heard of this movie and came through it as it was from cable
yesterday evening. I intend to see only a few minutes of it, and then go to sleep
, but ended up watching the whole thing. I was intrigued
with Ellen DeGeneres', a hard-boiled, seen-it-all detective
with a great sense of timing and sense of humor. I was also very impressed with the
direction and editing, the film moves at a fast clip and bright,
is fast and sexy and fun. And I liked Patricia Arquette as conspiracy wife,
she plays her role with deft precision. Unlike the first reviewer of this film
found that the plot twists predictable, neither my husband nor I saw them coming
. I thought this was a thoroughly enjoyable movie, I just feel we fell short
see it on the big screen.
Once again I must say I do not see where all the negativity comes from
. This is a very fun movie. DeGenerus am not a fan, but I thought
