The classic tale of 'Peter Pan' continues in Disney's sequel 'Return to Never Land'. In a world besieged by World War II, Wendy, now grown up, tries to give her own children hope by telling them of her magical experiences with Peter Pan in Never Land. However, Jane, Wendy's 12-year-old daughter, sees it all as make believe and refuses to believe in the tales. That is, until the villainous Captain Hook mistakes her for Wendy and abducts her to Never Land in an attempt to lure and capture Peter Pan. Peter Pan's quest to return Jane safely home is jeopardized until she can begin to believe in the magic of imagination.

Take this review with a grain of salt, because I am a big fan of
Peter Pan and all things properly based on the classic James Barrie.
This sequel, however, made me cringe. I enjoyed
liberal interpretations before - and Hook Finding Neverland, for example - but this movie completely
whatever trash Peter Pan character is supposed to have
. Peter Pan is not a hero - he is a mischievous and often forgetful
boy. It is totally selfish and totally charming, and these are his two
defects. However, "Return to Neverland," this character
"Peter Pan" is a mere ghost of the complex creation of Barrie. Whatever
beautiful messages of Peter Pan has about nostalgia and childhood, "
Return to Neverland" turns upside down at worst, and simply ignores them in
best.
The animation was not bad, though.
All you need is faith, trust and Pixie Dust! It is a pleasant surprise
sequel. The C.G. Tinkerbelle is not as sensitive as ... I remember
of the first, but she is still well done and is so spunky!
I think they did a very good job in this movie ... as good a job I would not classify it with sequels
normal. I think it will be on the platform with the
other classics. They still have the Tinker that turns red when you're angry, and
the loss of children have not changed a bit. Peter is only as a memento of him, and
in all of this they did a great job. And in general, I love this movie. The credits
not surprise me. They reminded me last page in the Little Golden Books
have read as a child. Very similar art ... Lay
very similar.
addition, I would like to add that music was not really torture for me
... listen to those who are considered much for my point of view of the cartoons.
I do not miss taking my children to this movie. There is even a sweet
date movie.
