I have been eagerly anticipating the opening of this movie
for several months. Being a big fan of Jim Carrey, I saw how easily it could morph itself to
Seuss' Grinch and make the character his own. I was not disappointed
.
This film is pure magic. Carrey is a master at his craft and can not be
have played this role to perfection as he did. There was much to enjoy
for adults and children alike and this film is a delight to become a
timeless classic for all to enjoy in the coming years.
I already have visions of my little daughter sat year after year to see the remake
video, and I certainly will do with it and laugh like I did
the first time that the saw.
Obviously, this movie Jim Carrey has written all over him, and I do not think that
have met without it. However, the cast
was charming and entertaining in its own right, especially the adorable
Taylor Momsen that was the perfect foil to Carrey's antics. The staging, costumes and musical score
lent their hands to a magical, fabulous
finished product and I think that all participants can be proud.
It is not an easy task to turn a 22-minute cartoon classic into a full length film
live action, but Howard has managed with great success.
To critics who disagree, perhaps is that their hearts are
2 sizes too small.
I've seen this movie 5 or 6 times and each time I see that the only
character who was funny was Jim Carrey as the Grinch. Some of the
other characters were good in their roles, but if Jim Carrey had not
in this movie would have been bummer. However the film
a car that was very interesting story, but could never compare to
whole time classic Dr. Suess. I realize that I had to stretch the
story in the film considering that it was an hour and a half
long film instead of a half-hour cartoon and did so in OK.

if they have not seen this movie yet see if you like Jim Carrey
because he did a fantastic job playing the Grinch in this
film.
