NASCAR stock car racing sensation Ricky Bobby (Will Ferrell) is a national hero because of his "win at all costs" approach. He and his loyal racing partner, childhood friend Cal Naughton Jr. (John C. Reilly), are a fearless duo — "Shake" and "Bake" by their fans for their ability to finish so many races in the #1 and #2 positions, with Cal always in second place. When flamboyant French Formula One driver Jean Girard (Sacha Baron Cohen) challenges "Shake" and "Bake" for the supremacy of NASCAR, Ricky Bobby must face his own demons and fight Girard for the right to be known as racing's top driver.

I was fortunate to be at a premiere in Chicago for this movie and that
was pure fun. I am not a fan nascar
and I love this movie. First let me say that most of the scenes showing
previews are not in the movie, or at least are altered version of the
trailer. The characters are very funny. John C. Reily and
Will Farrell make a perfect red-neck game in this comedy.
Play each other and we can say that must have had an explosion
making this movie. The scene where grace is saying around the table
, in my opinion, will be one of the funniest scenes ever. I rank this movie
up there with another Farrell larger
like Old School, Wedding Crashers and Anchorman. Therefore, if you are a testament
Farrell fan or not, if only enjoy fun films that will have you laughing out loud
from start to finish, which should go
check out this movie when sale. I will be the guy in the front
the line waiting to get my ticket to see this movie again. A +
This film does something that is rarely done successfully done,
pokes fun at the modern Formula One circuit. Without detailing all the jokes, this
is pure entertainment that does not offend the tastes too often. Will Farrell
is patently absurd as Ricky Bobby and the support it receives in this movie
around the cast is excellent. Gary Cole is very solid as
Ricky's dad, and so is Jane Lynch as his mother. Amy Adams is too strong. In fact,
entire cast including John C. Reilly seems to have been
fit into their roles as gloves.
Sasha Cohen goes better in this as Ricky Bobbys French nemesis
that makes it even Borat. The used and fits perfectly
their role really well. The story line works very well as the evolution of speed too
bake and shake too magic man and helps me keep the film focused on
more than jokes. There is only enough to hang the argument
jokes.
The script is very funny, with references to a lot of things besides
Nascar & Sex (which is too often the only thing that makes comedy as
today). This film proves that outrageous is much better than when sex
right to do comedy. Thank God this is much better than ill-conceived
BETWITCHED Farrell did in 2005. This film is actually a
excellent showcase for all involved. If your a fan of NASCAR,
should even get a little more fun this.
Prepare for the flag Ricky Booby, this movie is a winner
the way.
