I have not laughed this hard in a theater since I saw
There's Something About Mary. That said, I am a fan of the TV series, and I thought that the film
lived up to their expectations. My only complaint is that
could have been longer. However, I believe that writers and actors were in their
game. Keep in mind this is dumb slapstick humor,
with flatulence and vomit jokes, but its still very intelligent, unique and definitely fun!
There really was not much of a story, or I should say that he had
very simple plot. But that's not what makes fun Reno 911 (
a complex plot could even be distracting). What makes Reno 911
fun is the endless string of "sketches" of these scenarios and incompetent policemen
put it in. This is a large cast of actors and comedians.
Lt. Jim dangle (Thomas Lennon) has invited a
national police convention in Miami Beach, Florida.
Dangle brings his seven deputies with him. Deputy Travis Junior (Robert Ben Garant),
Deputy Trudy Wiegel (Kerri Kenney-Silver), Deputy Raineesha Williams (Niecy Nash
), Vice-President of S. Jones (Cedric Yarbrough), Deputy Clementine Johnson
(Wendi McLendon-Covey), Deputy James Garcia (Carlos Alazraqui) and Cherish
Deputy Kimball (Mary Birdsong) are delighted with the news.
But once they arrived in Miami, Florida. His invitation was wrong
and these inept cops are forced to stay at a hotel sleazy
couple of days. Now the city is in mortal danger, when all the policemen in the police
convention are affected by a virus. That
have a couple of days to find a cure before they all die. Lieutenant dangle
and its deputies are the only law left in the city. They have no choice but to fazer their work for this city. While the team are trying to find that the
responsible for the sick crime.
Directed by Robert Ben Garant (Balls of Fury) made an animated comedy
que se basa in a cult of the Comedy Central television series. The cast, which
inept play these characters are fun to watch, but the script, written by
Director: Garant, Lennon and Kenney-Silver and there is little trace
no story here, but a series of bullets. These extremely dumber than dumb
police officers are worse than the "Police Academy"
cast of characters. What are some funny scenes and has some gross-out jokes
too. The eight characters in the film did so much better in
Show television.
DVD is strong anamórfico widescreen (1.85:1) and transfer of sound
Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound. DVD has three tracks comments!
One of the actors / filmmaker: Garant, Lennon and Kenney-Silver. The other two
track comments made by the eight members of the cast, being in
nature of the image. DVD also has deleted / extended scenes with optional commentary

Fans of the TV series will love and others who probably find this film
joyless. It is certainly a real mixture of a film. Paul Rudd has
some amusing bit by bit their share of "Ethan drug lord". What
Rudd makes an amusing parody of the Oscar-Winner: Al Pacino's performance in
"Scarface." Funny cameos from Danny DeVito (Who is also one of the
producers of this movie), David Koechner, Nick Swardson, Mindy Sterling,
Paul Reubens and an uncredited one by The Rock. (***/*****).
