"House of Fury" has a decent amount of action and violence! But
not be fooled! This is not a martial arts movie! This is a film for
family on the family! The title is what some misleading! Of course it is
meant as a parody! It is above all a father who is taking care of their children
on its own since her mother died! Children are a bit embarrassed
him since he is saying these incredible stories about his ex
work as a secret agent! Later children know who was telling the
along the whole truth! Anthony Wong is perfect as the father!
Personally I think it is a great dad, because it really does not get mad at them and
not take good care of them! They are fortunate to have a father like that!
When the father was taken by "Rocco" (Michael Wong) realize that!
"House of Fury" is a nice blend of comedy, drama and action! Although
Yuen Woo Ping was involved, martial arts sequences that were not special!
They were just entertaining enough! Since this is not really an action film
not mind much! But some spectators who were waiting
hardcore action will be disappointed! See this film for what it is! A good
action / comedy for the family!
The fights are not AD as mentioned by someone else - his company is only

Anthony Wong stars here as a widowed father Yue Siu -- Bo, a former
secret agent who is now retired and alone, caring for their 2 sons Nicky
(Stephen Fung) and Natalie (Gillian Chung). His relationship with his children
is remarkably tense as his constant stories about her illustrious career
former come across as the most imaginative of a "Robinson Crusoe"
mid-life crisis, they constantly causing embarrassment. However, little
You know that his father's alleged predilection for Jackanory
must actually prove to be true, when an enemy from his past reappears
Siu and hostage-bo. Inevitably left until 2 teenage idols
to save the day, for what is essentially another successful popcorn
of the current crop of HK film talent.
House of Fury is clearly a slight adventure, and makes no excuses
to be a great dramatic exercise. One hour and a half
on top of action, less than subtle humor and a good sprinkling of
in jokes and parody is what is on offer. Ultimately, offers
this promise.
Firstly it is a modern action, and as such,
are a number of fight scenes sprinkled throughout the running time.
Majority of these are solidly choreographed by (the now famous throughout the world)
Yuen Wo-ping, along with its lesser-known associates Yuen Shun-yi and Ku Huen Chiu
. The implementation of its stylings is usually quite tight
taking into account the positive list are not stunt people from the 80's mold.
Wirework is used to enhance the tour and kicking, as well as some of the most
OTT moves, but otherwise are fisticuffs land and
realistic. In terms of action compared to other contemporary
movies, is well, and anyone familiar with current trends
know what to expect. In general struggles are good, and sometimes
impressive, but not revolutionary.
The comedy in this feature is less extensive than I expected to be open to HK
a travesty. There are moments when it is really silly (as
Wu Ma see flying across the rooftops or Anthony Wong had the impression
Bruce Lee nunchaku complete with the skeleton), but otherwise, the comedy
element is limited, taking a back seat to the fast-moving, but simple plot

Far from the comedy and action elements, almost all of the cast
still have a good performance. "Almost" is the key word here. As in 99% of its
Michael Wong roles once again has managed to confuse me.
I'm confused because I simply do not understand why it is increasingly cast in any movie. Here is typically

Not rank up there with the best of any genre, but a slight action-comedy that
worth a watch. After all his directorial debut with "Enter the
Phoenix", Stephen Fung has shown plenty of promise and I am surprisingly
