A giant structure found in the desert has studied by various scientist for nearly fifty years and are no where near discovering what it is. Until Daniel jackson, a language expert deciphers and reveals that it's a Stargate. He also discovers how to make it work. They then learn that it's some kind interstellar transport device. Now a group of soldiers led by despondent Colonel Jack O'Neill go to the planet, also accompanying them is Jackson, who said that he can reactivate the Stargate to send them back but he forgot to mention that he needs to find the symbols and they can't find anything, so it appears that they are trapped. And if that isn't enough, some aliens arrive and capture them and have nefarious plans for Earth.

I felt Stargate is an excellent movie with a lot of character
Actions / interactions. I enjoyed the interaction between O'neil (K.
Russell) and Skara and between Daniel (J. Spader) and Sh'auri. I think
Russell did a great job as this character, because the child had died O'neil
(accidentally) O'neil using their own weapon and O'neil () blame each other same
And the fact that their mission was a suicide mission one of the forms of
(Start him, undoubtedly, a volunteer). I felt O'neil overall
Gloominess / glumness [given the above] were excellently portrayed by K.
Russell in this regard. They also enjoy Spader as the role of friendship and
Academicians "dweeb" Daniel and Sh'auri get to the end through its mayor (
His own blundering than anything else). I enjoyed immensely and Stargate
recommend the film to anyone considering high rent /:
