The psychiatric intern Clark Stevens (Joshua Leonanrd) comes to Cunningham Hall, a mental healthy facility administrated by Dr. Franks (Lance Henriksen), for a training period before his graduation in medical college. He gets close to the resident Sara (Jordan Ladd) and to Ben London, a dangerous patient lodged in cell 44 in the basement of the clinic. Clark becomes intrigued with a boy, who seems to be a ghost, and finds that Dr. Franks does not use real medication in the patients. A further investigation shows hidden dark secrets in the clinic.

First, rent this movie, only hoped that the affected
typical low-budget B-movie, but was surprised to discover a good film that could have played
first run in theaters. Basically, a young psychiatric internal
comes to this haven ruinous psychiatric hospital and discovers a chamber of horrors
. There is a mysterious child ghost running loose in the hospital
(unfortunately, this actor was the name of the missing
credits) and a string of murders that take place, such as internal
attempts to piece together what is happening. There were several recognizable stars
(as Lance Henrickson) in the film, most of whom had small parts
in favor of lesser known players. There was a lot of
bloodshed in this movie, and a very good lap in the plot
towards the end of the film that makes all the above elements remain difficult
crystal clear to the spectator as the identity of the murderer
is done.
Clark (Joshua Leonard) is a young and idealistic new
intern in a run-down and outside mental health facility. Their aspirations
clean up the site hit a snag when butts heads with Dr. Franks
(Lance Henrikson) that does not seem to recall that patients
never seem to get better. Shortly Clark begins to see things and death and mayhem
invade the reality of "Madhouse". Together Clark and Sara must
or discover what it stems from asylum and
survive the slaughter.
"Madhouse" is a slick-looking production. Very well filmed and directed,
adds some nice visual pizazz to a relatively level script. The three
takes all veterans of horror films and do very well in their parts.
Excellent sound design and above the average that the photograph "Madhouse"
solid horror thriller.
