Three American brothers who have not spoken to each other in a year set off on a train voyage across India with a plan to find themselves and bond with each other — to become brothers again like they used to be. Their "spiritual quest", however, veers rapidly off-course (due to events involving over-the-counter pain killers, Indian cough syrup, and pepper spray), and they eventually find themselves stranded alone in the middle of the desert with eleven suitcases, a printer, and a laminating machine. At this moment, a new, unplanned journey suddenly begins.

It's a good idea, right? .. There is a great idea. Three good actors
in three functions well written in an open, exciting and unpredictable
environment, while also being stuck with each other in an uncomfortable
an overcrowded train carriage. With more than a little baggage ...
However, despite the bright, new and fantastically environment and the sky and shot
new family member Anderson, The Darjeeling Limited
is what has been become a typical Wes Anderson film. Despite his transfer
of the suburbs, or more recently, the deep blue sea, is still a
film about a dysfunctional family and its efforts to
... become more functional. The comedy stems from the brother
tensions and conflicts of the past, and even music, which Anderson
typical mix of extravagant still relatively unknown affecting the tracks that
is very good and works everywhere the right ways, it feels comfortable and
expected despite his "novelty".
it seems to me that Anderson griping because the fifth film is as good as
others. And somehow, i am. The Darjeeling Limited is the work of an
director who has found his groove (or in this case, his track) and
shows no signs of trying to get out of it. As a result, not much
really feels strange. Thus, it is only good at what it does
then, right? It's the way Anderson manages the family drama that
Darjeeling joint separation. While it's fun at all
idiosyncratic ways, making light of awkward family relations and interactions,
Anderson warm, tender approach que se basa en
the lives of these characters. And, because of their peculiarities and defects,
become more than characters; can be seen as people.
Anderson movies have always had real heart
buried not far below the layer of offbeat style, so that despite its familiarity,
Darjeeling is certainly in this sense his best work. You can see a
part of yourself in each of the brothers Whitman, and in the cinema
there is no substitute for this.
