Wow ... I never expected a novel to be adapted so faithful in this day and age
. Rarely has leveled to talk with the high quality of films.
Joe Wright, who led his first theatrical film, 'Pride & Prejudice' is a wonderful
delight is a leader who won lady, Keira Knightley
an Oscar nomination. Two years later, the couple to meet with another
adaptation of an acclaimed novel, "Atonement" (Ian Mcewan). Wright,
despite being dyslexic, has created an astonishing
creation of the acclaimed novel by Ian Mcewan. Personally, I thought that the film is
divided into two parts, which stresses Briony life around.
The first half is incredibly tense as Briony (Sao Ronan, a star is born
) makes the mistake of his life. In the second half, Briony (currently
played by Romola Garai, unwavering), largely conducting
big mistake he has done and will try to atone. Right to the end,
70-year-old Briony (Vanessa Redgrave, used his time wisely screen)
tear masturbating at best (I am not going to stop the ruin).

The story begins with 13 years of age, bratty aspiring writer (and
playwright) Briony (Ronan) who has completed his first game. Briony,
after being given a letter of the house-son of actor, Robbie
(James McAvoy, outstanding in every possible way) to give Briony
sister, Cecilia (Keira Knightley, exquisite). But it is only after he
Briony gives this letter Robbie realizes that he has committed an error
give the wrong letter. This letter gave Briony
is very, very erotic. This letter confuses Briony. But what if that were not enough,
Cecilia and Robbie do something Briony has never seen before. Both
Knightley and McAvoy create one of the most erotic scenes in the past
... decade and even remove their clothes. When Briony
friend and cousin, Lola Quincey (Temple of Juno, after looking at it in this
and "Notes on a Scandal ', this girl is officially a great actress,
pieces great for the future, no doubt) is attacked, most are committed to Briony
a lie that will affect the lives of Robbie, Cecilia and
itself ... forever.

Five years later, World War II is near. Briony (which plays at present
Garai) has become a trainee nurse in London. Briony is 100% convinced now that Robbie
not attack (or let's say rape) Lola. It has also
happened to have a novel written during the war que se basa en su
misunderstanding. Although Briony is a nurse, Robbie has become a soldier and fight
in Dunkirk. Is Briony lies haunt her for the rest of his life
? Have you already done? What will she do now that she knows Lola
Robbie not rape? The film raises a number of questions
realistic must pass through the minds of Briony and the Garai
facial expressions ... one can say.

Most of you have already heard Dario Marianelli impressive music.
Since the only sound of the typewriter tapping his dramatic
romantic music. Everything is delectable.
Seamus McGarvey's cinematography is bright and colors of the photos are well used.
A tracking shot used in the film, is absolutely unforgettable.
Jacqueline Durran Suit beautifully capture both the novel and
gives us the feeling 30 years. To add to that, is the soldier
costumes that were made to fit 1000 of extras that brought to life Dunkirk
screen .. To complete the 30 who feel, which leads to as
production design and art direction. This film is both successful in terms of
period of romance and war.

of the two drivers, James McAvoy and Keira Knightley are
brilliant. The chemistry is there and when they are clearly
together ... is electrifying. Sao Ronan
performance is unforgettable and I am glad that she is going to all the major roles
you're getting. Romola Garai, the 18-year-old Briony is largely
its limited role as Briony which has almost everything
regrets she did five years earlier. His scene with Knightley and McAvoy
is full of compassion. Variety says Garai has been unable to hold the screen
with the other two ... I do not think so. Vanessa Redgrave's role is even more limited
and, unfortunately, had to be so. Finally, the letter
of Christopher Hampton is clearly a passionate and faithful
adapting their original source. I am incredibly happy that this
the film has been successful in its hype. In general, a disturbing,
tear masturbating, crowd-pleaser. The hype was well worth it. Waiting
a hit for both critics and audiences alike. Surprising, riveting.
A film that shows how a misunderstanding that could stay with a
life of the girl. Forever. It would be very hard for you not to reduce
tears of emotion ending.
"Atonement" is structurally similar to a three-act, with a brief epilogue
. The three central characters are Briony, the youngest daughter of the wealthy
Tallis family, his older sister and Robbie Turner
Cecilia, Cecilia's childhood friend. Robbie is a humble social
(her mother is one of the servants of the family), but
academically brilliant, and Mr Tallis has paid for him to be educated
through primary school and Cambridge, where he obtained a first. A
seemingly bright future awaits you in whatever profession he chooses
, and he wants to pursue a career in medicine.

Act I begins as an upper-class comedy of manners. The scenario is the Tallis family
peace in a hot summer day in 1935. Briony, a precocious
thirteen years of age, with ambitions of being a writer, has written
a play to be performed by herself and her three cousins, but this project demonstrates
aborted due to disagreements between them. Robbie has
love with Cecilia and accidentally sends
sexually explicit lyrics of love. In other circumstances this could result
unfortunately, but his passion as Cecilia returns the accident appears to have been a happy
. The tone of the film changed abruptly, however, when the premium
Briony Lola is sexually assaulted. Lola
can not identify her attacker, but Briony, who was a witness, falsely accuses Robbie.
As a result, he is guilty of attempted rape and sent to prison. In

Act II, established in 1940, Robbie, released from prison, is now a soldier
with the British Army in France. He is desperately trying to reach
Dunkirk ahead of the advancing Germans, not by fighting kept going
patriotism or spirit, but by the hope of returning to Cecilia, who was by him
throughout his trial and imprisonment,
becoming separated from their families as a result. In Act III we Briony, now eighteen years, as
a volunteer nurse at a hospital in London. It is this law that
theme of Atonement comes to the fore. Briony is beginning to have doubts about their identification
Robbie Lola as the attacker, so much so that
offered to withdraw his previous testimony and help you clean your
name. His decision to work as a nurse instead of going to college and
devoted to the care of the wounded can also be seen as an attempt to atone
the part it plays in blighting the lives of an innocent man
and tear in his family apart.

After "Last King of Scotland" and "to be Jane," James McEvoy is
increasing the male star of British cinema, and his performance here is < br> still the best I've seen. Whereas Dr Garrigues in "The Last King…"
is morally flawed, and Lefroy "to be Jane" hid his better nature
below a roguish outside, Robbie is unambiguously heroic. McEvoy
manages to convey in his capacity as the basic decency,
achieving the difficult task of doing good things without making it seem boring.

Keira Knightley is another rising British star, and this is his second
film with the director Joe Wright, after "Pride and Prejudice". Although she
was good in the comedy "Bend like Beckham", I think his films
Wright with his best being, suggesting that their future lies with serious drama
popcorn instead of epics such as "Pirates of the Caribbean" in
she seemed miscast. His Cecilia is not just the most beautiful, but also
areas with more spirit and heroin from any movie I've seen recently
. Special mentions must also go to Sao Ronan as the young Briony
and Vanessa Redgrave played by the now elderly Briony
in the epilogue, established in 1999. I felt, however, that Romola Garai, at 25, was too old
as eighteen years old, Briony. This

Wright was only the second film, and that
has already established himself as a director. "Pride and Prejudice"
is a good movie, but "Atonement" is better. Ian Mcewan's book is among
best novels of recent years, and I doubt that any treatment
film could capture all of its nuances. One of his subjects, particularly
literary debate between traditionalism and modernity, seems beyond the reach of any
visual aid, and Wright and screenwriter Christopher Hampton
cautiously away from it. Hampton, who has become the book
a very good script, keeps Mcewan end of the rotation, although it is here
presented in a different way, with Briony reveal the truth in a TV interview
.

however, if the film does not capture all the nuances of the literary novel
, Wright offset this with its extraordinary visual imagination
, something that sometimes lacking in films based on novels .
"Atonement" that joins the list of films ( "Far from Heaven" and "Girl with a pearl
" are other examples that come to mind), where almost
every scene seems composed like a painting. This is true not only of
Act I, set out in that beautiful house (actually Stokesay Court in
Shropshire), but also of Act II, where Wright
can find a terrible beauty even in war , Especially in the scenes of the city and burning
much less than the Dunkirk beaches in the gray morning light.
Especially poignant was the scene where British soldiers sing "
Dear Lord and Father of Mankind". The second line of John Greenleaf Whittier
the anthem is, of course, "Forgive Our Means Tonto" - a
particularly appropriate to comment on the war, and perhaps by the behaviour of some of the characters
.

was also very good Dario Marianelli the musical score, which
(suitable for a film in which writing plays an important role)
incorporated the sound of typewriter keys playing . In total, an excellent film-
I can only hope that their origins and British
late summer (traditionally successful season) launch date not
prejudice to the Academy against it when it comes to Oscar next year.
