Jesse, a writer from the US, and Celine, a Frenchwoman working for an environment protection organization, acquainted nine years ago on the train from Budapest to Vienna, meet again when Jesse arrives in Paris for a reading of his new book. As they have only a few hours until his plane leaves, they stroll through Paris, talking about their experiences, views and whether they still love each other, although Jesse is already married with a kid.

"Before Sunrise" was one of the most beautiful love stories
independent of the 90. Part of its appeal came from ending the open. We did not know how
the lives of these two young men who follow him and
would become one of them. The whole movie was like a snapshot that left
rest to your imagination. A sequel to this story
seems to be unnecessary, but it seems that director Richard Linklater himself
can not stop thinking about these two intriguing characters and had to contemplate
their lives after this fateful day in Vienna .
Here is now the most unlikely sequel I've seen, "
Before Sunset" - did not by money but by pure artistic purpose only.
Much of the magic of the first part could have been destroyed, but somehow
Linklater and his two key players managed to Saca. "
Before Sunset" takes place nine years after Jesse and Celine met for the first time and
as soon as the movie starts you feel you meet old friends who have not seen in
long time. You really know these people
and immediately feel at home with them. I was afraid that "Before Sunset"
could give answers to questions that should not be answered in the first place. If "
Before Sunrise" is a dream that two young people, then this film could only be
rude awakening, the confrontation with reality. And somehow
is just that. It's a little disillusioning to know that not all
in turn, as well as one could have imagined. We learned that Jesse and Celine
are not particularly happy in their lives and that they are not really the romantic
people they used to be nine years ago. The
soothing thing to see, however, is that they are still here. Both
have passed his 30th birthday, have jobs and their future is
more or less decided, but who are still yearning for passion in his life and
as soon as they meet one another, is there again.
Could have given up many of their dreams and beliefs, but one thing remains true
: their feelings for each other. While you're talking about is that as
turn back time and become young, the hope of the people who once were
again. I'm getting a little forward, but that's the beauty of these
two films, "Sunrise" and "Sunset". The story sucks you and you
I can not stop thinking about it a long time. Another thing
"Before Sunset" did to me was that made me think
my own life. How I have changed over the past nine years? What has become
of my dreams? Obviously, I have received more cynical, because I
sometimes irritated by Celine to talk about environmental problems
and their emotional outbursts. It took me way longer than the last time
enter history.
anyway, Hawke and Delpy are wonderful once again.
Are acting as natural as they can, and thinking of Hawke's recent divorce
in real life you wonder how much of his character in the film se basa en
their own experiences.
Unfortunately, the film is over too soon and after about an hour
've already reached the final scene. A scene that is just incredible
. You have the hope that somehow all work for
Jesse and Celine, and that perhaps they will be together this time. Since
part, "Before Sunset" has no doubt ending, however.
That leaves the rest to your imagination. It is sure nice to see that
Linklater apparently cares about Jesse and Celine as much as I do and
made a good sequel. He probably could even make a third party.
"Before Sunset" has convinced me that might work.
Before Sunset is one of those films either love or hate you.
Personally, I loved it.
Now, I recommend seeing "before dawn" in the first place, however, ISN 't
necessary. Before Sunset does a good job of reviewing what had happened
, hence, if you decide to see it before seeing "Sunrise"
that have nothing to worry about.
Some scenes are very well done. The characters are the perfect image
, and the film itself, is impressive. The aura of the film
is so spectacular, which will inspire young directors out there,
to pick up their video cameras are to begin filming.
A film of 80 minutes, about two lovable characters and what they have to say
, may sound boring. But the road is done Before Sunset in
sweep this right away from printing their feet.
Julie and Ethan play two of the most honest and real characters that I have never seen
, they are known as Jesse and Celine. And while much of the credit must go to
characters, which
musn't forget the actor and actress who played.
Julie is perfect as Celine. The young French actress is so natural
front of the camera. Definitely has potential.
Ethan is also very very honest, seems so comfortable that the
that you forget watching a movie, not a homemade video.
Both play with this kind of honest expression, such veracity, which are
so naturally Before Sunset no longer becomes a movie. It feels as if
hear two people extremely developed. It may
atmosphere, which never want to leave.
