In this blend of the B movie classic The Blob (1958) and some Romero's zombies film, a meteorite collides in a small town. Grant finds it, and is infected by a parasite worm, which installs in his brain and causes him a creepy transformation into a monster. Starla, his wife, and Bill, a policeman, will try to stop him and the plague of worms generated by the creature.

Slither James Gunn wrote as a tribute to the horror movies he loved.
Each and every one of them. From the Deadly Swarm, The Fly, the
Toxic Avenger, the matter to the CART, some films most people do not know much about

The film is about a loving husband (though not the best dramatically.
His love for his wife is one of their best sides), which is the bite of an alien
Insects. He begins to mutate into a beast squid while slugs like monsters
Terror in a small town where cell phones do not exist.
Obviously previews of this is a bit of comedy.
You will be surprised by what is really suspenseful. The horror ranks
Cheap pop-outs, hilarious gore, and the heart pounding action in a
Gender bending movie that is like the Earthquakes for adults.
The film is well acted, and all the actors have so much chemistry
Together. While the film is not a great film, those looking for a good time
have nothing to complain about. It keeps the audience
Fun as few other movies can.
First, I am a horror of nuts and no matter what anyone says, this is NOT a
usurpation of the "Night of the Creeps" or "The Deadly Spawn." James Gunn
himself said in a recent Fangoria the horrors weekend in Chicago
the only film that played a role in "Slither" is David Cronenberg
"Came from Within" (AKA - "Chills"). There is a
Descarado tribute to the fans of Cronenberg's film will
Far right, and that's cool. That what is by James Gunn. You forget,
this is a guy who built the house Kaufman - Troma. Agrees with the head and the interior
Jokes abound in "Slither." It's a horror movie for a real horror movie
Fans. Slimy, not bloody. Funny, not insipid. "Slither" is the next logical step
of the person who wrote the remake of "Dawn of the Dead".
This is a little more fun, much less severe, with a large cast
What makes this film what it should be - very entertaining. Perfect
. But sure it is fun and makes you look with interest what I will
