Ridley Scott

This is simply the best Scott hour. There is a huge crowd of
movies with futuristic vision. The films that Grope crudely in a possible
time ahead, perhaps an era when post-apocalyptic disperses with
cliché to cliché, and often miss the whole point. What Ridley Scott
achieved with this film, a scenario is entirely possible.
Really do not feel like a science fiction novel come alive, but not as much as its derivative
written by Phillip K Dick (Do androids dream of electric sheep
?). It's a grimy, violent world inhabited by the sick, a smaller class
second villainous citizens who have not made quite the degree of
the world outside the colonies. We have a real melting pot of east china
nationalities.The heavy references within the inner city as
cities is particularly poignant.
This film is also in perfect Ford casting.Theirs a charm that rye
Ford has no other actor could fill false or quite as effortless.
It is a mixture of review depending on the version you've seen. For me,
directors cut is too short. I preferred the hearing screening
friendship that had the wonderful narration. The best moments with
this story has to be described by Batty in his dying moments
eyes and Ford recapitulation of this man / machine
passion and love for life .. No other sci-fi futuristic movie has ever made the grade
before or since, in my humble opinion. It captured the oil and smells
light of a brutal future scarily represented in movies or even so well.
hunting with Zora scene along the flybys the capture of the city
impressive city, chimneys and skyscrapers in one shot.
This is my favorite film of all time for all the reasons above and many more could i
type effortlessly throughout the day and night.
I'm going to do with confidence that the declaration Blade Runner is the best
science fiction ever made the picture. I've seen every major sci-fi movie,
and personally, Blade Runner is revealed to be a superior film.
Space Odyssey and Alien approaching, but not to delay as well as
Blade Runner to multiple viewings. Space Odyssey tends to be calm in your
more psychedelic moments, leaving one with a sense of longing confusing.
No matter how many theories are the basis outlined by the content of the film, its ultimate meaning
will remain increasingly ambiguous, as Kubrick intended to be.
Alien is weakened by its inability to reach a larger audience
philosophical level. The suspense in the movie is almost unparalleled, and
Sigourney Weaver is fantastic, but falls short of excellence
displayed in Blade Runner.
Let me explain why Blade Runner is my favorite:
The most striking aspect of the film is its cinematography. There is nothing more than
genius in the shooting of each scene. The use of shadows and low camera angles
has a strange resemblance to the film Citizen Kane
. My favorite shot is when we get our first look at
office Tyrell. The lighting effects throughout the whole scenes are
fantastic. (especially when the windows are tinted). Note that the
lame-brains in the academy did not nominate Blade Runner
for Best Cinematography. How stupid can reach?
Behind every film is the vision of the director, and in this film, Ridley Scott
shows incredible vision. His conception of a futuristic LA, as
is characterized by the inevitable demographics of the future, is what allows
the film to transcend its time and remains popular in the future.
Many of the themes of the film come from science fiction novel (which carries a
absurd title that does not obey the rules of logic: not a dream
sheep, one thinks of sheep in a attempt to achieve a state of sleep), yet
how those issues are presented brings the full
genius of Ridley Scott. (How many rock Hardcore fans know where the phrase "more
human rights" comes from?) Through the example of replicants, Scott
exposes human sin to take life for granted. Moreover, he wondered:
what it means to be human? Do we have a false vision of our own moral
as a career? Does ignore our own ills? Can we play God as Tyrell attempts to do so?
The complexity of all these questions allows many viewings of the film.
And then, of course, are the actors. None of them stand out in
their duties and yet the act is perfect. Harrison Ford plays Deckard,
misanthropic ex-police, leaving as a true anti-hero. Sean Young
plays Rachel, replicating incredibly human who steals his heart. Rutger Hauer plays
Roy, the leader umistakably aria of the replicants. The three
they deserve Oscar nominations. Other minor roles are magnificent
as well.
Finally, Blade Runner would not be the same without Vangelis
banda sonora. Have a wonderful atmosphere control effect throughout the film.
I particularly like the Blade Runner Blues, and Rachel's
song.
believe that anyone who has read through all my commentary gives the
point: I love this movie and I seem to be the best. If you have not seen
, arriving at the video store now! For the first time viewers
sure to get the original version. When it had become sufficiently familiar with the plot, go
see it as it was meant to be, (without the voice-over), and rental
Director's Cut. If you live in a big city, you can be lucky enough to catch
on the big screen in a theater independent.
