This is one of the most richly imaginative, creative, frankly
enjoyable movies I've ever seen. Not much I have enjoyed my present
since Pulp Fiction.
It took a while to find out who was the hero. First I thought that was the barber
boy who has himself constantly smack on the
owner. I suppose that's because it seemed so weak, so he had to
be a Kung fu master in disguise. I have read some of the other posts, and
everybody seems to think that the knife was the most fun scene. I did not get to
We hope this film laughing, but the knife scene
nearly killed me. Fortunately it was only me and my friend in the movie theatre,
so you can allow everything.
If you go to the movies to freedom of imagination, then this is the
movie for you. Stay away from people who say it is very
fetched and unrealistic. If you want realism, they should go to the laundry.
I saw this movie yesterday and is undoubtedly one of the best films
as was done in the history of Hong Kong. The plot is simple,
and history is all about Kung fu. However, it is not just a fun comedy about
Kung fu. It is more than that. Somehow
is similar to Harry Potter (in this case is assistant) or animations Hayao Miyazaki
that in a world of imagination is created. The characters of the film
are so fun and classics. Most of them appeared in some of
Stephen Chow's movies before, but because the context of each film is different
, the overall result is hilarious. This is a film that fazer Hong Kong people proud. I hope it will be a box office success in other countries
. I think I will definitely buy the DVD movie
for my personal collection.
