Dogville is long, and if you do not have the patience of a slow pace until
of tension, which in turn will have right in front of you. There are a couple of devices history
Von Trier uses that really hear me, and I almost closed it out once.
I'm glad I stuck with him, however, because he really understands
somewhere and I came away enjoying the experience ..
critics who hated talking about Dogville is hamhanded anti-American bias

I knew nothing about this film Von Trier or see it before and I must say I am totally lost
fighting until the americas backcredits thing.
Not get me wrong, there are several scenes that make comments about
rampant nationalism, prejudice towards immigrants and the small town
xenophobia, but these comments could be made on the heat at any
region of any country at any time.
If we are to criticize 21-americas century, and there are plenty of reasons to criticize
, we must also criticize
other peoples and governments that are screwing up royally. I think if you have a point of Dogville
make americas, its not that is uniquely problematic, but
which is so problematic as any other nation. Where on this planet
you can not find a group of people who think:
the world would be a better place if everyone was U.S. The same.
That statement is the core of failure for each major and conqueror
each major religion in history and that lead eventually inevitable

this is my favorite of his performances.
