An homage to exploitation B-movie thrillers that combines two feature-length segments into one double-bill designed to replicate the grind house theatergoing experience of the 70s and 80s. In "Death Proof," a psycho named Stuntman Mike (Kurt Russell) stalks and kills beautiful women with his car. In "Planet Terror," a small-town sheriffs' department has to deal with an outbreak of murderous, infected people called "sickos." A gun-legged woman named Cherry (Rose McGowan) and her martial arts-wielding partner (Freddy Rodriguez) take on the zombie army. The two films will be fused together by fake movie trailers.

I went into this movie with expectations of an enormous amount of
campy gore and senseless violence - and was delivered as promised! A
warning: Know what to expect when you see this movie, or perhaps
be surprised / disappointed. There is no morality, no common sense or life
lesson to be taken by the story lines or characters. Sometimes things
no sense and all this is done in homage to the original purpose
exploitation films warnings aside, Grindhouse is a lot of fun,
many were "ooh" and "ahh" ; Moments as there are "oh my god, why
showing that? "moments. All actors in the proceedings were right in

A truly unique experience cinema.
He won tickets for the world premiere of Grindhouse in Louisiana last week
and is the best 3 hours of my life in recent history. The stories
of the two films together with the detail and inventiveness of
Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez brought together
3 hours of action-packed fun. The two directors updated the sleazy film Grindhouse
experience of 70 years and marketed so that everyone can enjoy
. You will not find some fat guy with his trousers around his ankles
sitting next to you, but you're probably going to be able to sit
through 3 hours of these films.
I want to congratulate the directors to have a unique vision of cinema
(and the Weinsteins to finance that vision). I do not always agree with
elections carried out either filmmakers, but I think we are
two of the hardest working most innovative people in Hollywood today. I
add this because most of the film studios Students love to hate both
people and most of the talks indicated that they would be able to fazer work much better than any of the two. I disagree.
Planet Terror is a gross movie that has
appropriate amounts of gore and guts. If you like Rodriguez, then this movie fits all
of their previous works. There are no real surprises here, but fun fun fun!
Tarantino surprised me. I liked the first film Tarantino
because his films were set in reality not far from ours.
I doubt that would happen in a weekend, but Pulp Fiction is a semi-credible
good story in Los Angeles, with incredible dialogue. Same with
Reservoir Dogs. (Jackie Brown is too credible and therefore uninteresting)
As he has progressed, movies became his fantasy, for example, From Dusk til Dawn
and Kill Bill 1 & 2 and too much about the upper part of a "Tarantino" Shake.
Proof of death leads him to house all! I do not want to spoil any of the films,
so only go see! This is a simple plot with incredible suspense and
decent dialogue. I have never been so nervous in a film in time
as I can remember. Its no secret that the film is about a car - but
Tarantino has taken a "classic" car using a stage classic cars and
updated for the new millennium. One only has to suspend belief "only
sufficient" for this mix of reality and fantasy to suck them in. It
Tarantino at his best.
Both films are well executed and scored, well written and well played
. The cameos and extra icing on the cake. Not for Oscar
either director, but that is not why I went to see these films in the
