Do not watch this movie unless you want to mourn. Sexy Troy Garity hairdressing
offers a powerful stellar performance as a young soldier in the airborne infantry
who falls in love with a beautiful transsexual. The film is
their love story so simple and normal as they face the complex emotions
that the world throws at them. It's really beautiful and a sight to behold.
Because the film is basa on a true story that makes it even more painful to see
. The performances are inspiring, the script is thoughtful and poignant
. The only flaw is the film maintains a rapid end. This is not
an investment in these characters wish they would have more time to
show the effects of hatred. It's like those films that make a difference.
People's minds, the hearts of people, the opinions of the population. It's so ashamed that
is limited to television this film should be widely celebrated for his
diversity, value and beauty. Much as main characters is that

Without knowing the precise details of the actual events that this movie is based on
, it is difficult to say how remains faithful to them. If

performances are generally strong, especially Shawn Hatosy as the
dangerously Unhinged Justin Fisher. Lee Pace is very good as
Calpernia Addams, but I do not see why the party could not have been played by a woman,
trans or otherwise.
There are a couple of scenes where discordant Winchell and Addams
discuss its merits with an almost military attitude of comraderie,
and also some uncomfortable (for a non-US) reflections on U.S.
military. I also believe that an offensive idea that the film tracks
over several times (and that is made explicit in the DVD extras)
that Winchell was somehow experiment with their sexuality. If he loved Addams as a woman,
this is not a problem, but the filmmakers and actors (and the mother of Winchell
in extras) do not seem to be able to understand that.
