In 480 BC, the Persian king Xerxes sends his massive army to conquer Greece. The Greek city of Sparta houses its finest warriors, and 300 of these soldiers are chosen to meet the Persians at Thermopylae, engaging the soldiers in a narrow canyon where they cannot take full advantage of their numbers. The battle is a suicide mission, meant to buy time for the rest of the Greek forces to prepare for the invasion. However, that doesn't stop the Spartans from throwing their hearts into the fray, determined to take as many Persians as possible with them.

This film is not for everyone. That is to say about a lot of movies in general

calling it a movie epic of the 21 century, or even more hatred

it. On the one hand, the visual are undoubtedly among the best
to be seen in a movie. Every detail, every background, every special

the plot and dialogue are the most simplistic and quite frankly
silent type. "I fight for freedom! I prefer to die in honour then living in
shame! "Sound familiar?
Of course it could be debated that this movie was never the intention
in the first place to have a single plot that turns the head.
But from an objective point of view is not yet available for this department, so
should be taken into account.
Now it's okay and everything, but it does make the film?
Is it worth watching or what? I think it is. For me the good outweighs the bad
miles. From the second movie began and I grabbed
not let go. Each battle, every scene of the film I had

I liked this movie a lot, but I know that there will be people who spend
as garbage, and that is understandable. Just be sure

outstanding performances (especially Gerard Butler's .. you see, being Greek, Italian,
wanted the best actors .. Butler gave him.

But always remember that this is a film that basa in a graphic novel
and is by no means a faithful representation of what really happened
at Thermopylae in 480 BC All those who paid the ticket
to see this film, should not be prepared for a historic movie, but a battle
style movie.
This film, along with the LOTR, is the entrance to the 21 century
's new epic film.
Kudos to Zack Snyder, who came from nowhere and, since the dawn of the Dead
, has shown that he is a brilliant and capable leader.
