Years later, on Nemo's first day of school, he's captured by a scuba diver and taken to live in a dentist office's fish tank. Marlin and his new absent-minded friend Dory set off across the ocean to find Nemo, while Nemo and his tankmates scheme on how to get out of the tank before he becomes the dentist's niece's new pet.

Pixar Animation Studios has a great knack for making thoughtful, intelligent and humorous
family films (note that I did not say boy films).
"Toy Story" 1 and 2 and "Monsters, Inc." are some of my favorite family films
;
"Finding Nemo" is not one of my favorites, but is not as daunting
"
A Bug's Life", and is thoughtful, intelligent, humorous and incredibly watchable
, like other Pixar movies.
As always, Pixar has a world of something and basa completely
his story around it. In the movie "Toy Story" that gave life to toys and has created the world
through their eyes. In "Monsters, Inc.," which showed us the monster
world.
In my review on "A Bug's Life", tells me that the reason why the film does not work
largely because they were mistakes, not about something mystical
as toys or monsters that bring memories of childhood. Well, I guess I sorta
is wrong, because "Finding Nemo" is all about fish, too
nothing mystical about fish, and still loved me.
This story takes place with low fish Marlin (voiced by Albert Brooks
), whose wife and baby fish eggs get eaten by a shark in the vicious
principle. All but one egg that Marlin names Nemo.
Years later Nemo (voiced by Alexander Gould, Elliot's son?) is a little older
and line to fish out of school for the first time. But tormented by the fact
their wives and children were killed every year, Marlin is extremely
excessive protection of their remaining family member. Nemo,
sick of being treated like a baby, demonstrates how courageous by swimming near a fishing boat
only to be caught by a diving dentist. And so Marlin
heads off to find Nemo, with the help of his new companion Dory (voice of Ellen DeGeneres
), which has short-term memory loss and forgets things ahead of
she can carry everything they're doing. (Like when she
Marlin is showing the way towards a fishing boat and suddenly forget why Marlin is
following her.)
Pixar does not disappoint the audience in this film.
But there are some things that you can always expect from Pixar movies: They can expect something
(such as toys
) to be its own world. They can expect that the world is
given careful attention to detail. And they can expect humor.
"Finding Nemo" gives the fish its own world, and underwater kingdom that
live in is paid careful attention, thoroughly captured in a movie with computer graphics
. And humor is always there. All the characters are fun
. I especially like the sequences from inside an aquarium in
the dentist's office, with a lot of fish including Gill (Willem Dafoe's
vocal talent), which constantly tries to escape. In doing so, Gill
has suffered serious injuries, including landing at the dentist consultation and obtain tools
sliced up. This is, of course, a parody of escaping prisoners of war. The fact that
Willem Dafoe was in the great war movie "Platoon" might have something to do with
that.
This is taken from my "Monsters, Inc." review: "Pixar once again
not only expands our minds, but our own worlds. I respect your business values and commitment
much as you can read from my 'Toy Story' review. They
adhere to the values that made Disney films for the family back to the fifties and sixties
: Respect the audience, respect for the quality and respect
intelligence of the audience, something Disney, which has recently
coughed a lot of evil, irreflexivas aftermath, has been forgotten. Now, I know
legal Disney is co-creator of 'Toy Story' and 'Monsters, Inc.'
but in reality they are not. Only Pixar give money and get your name
mark on the front of the box film. And even then, I have heard many
claims that Disney is very significant to Pixar animated (read a sequel
trouble 'Toy Story 3') and gives them the least.
With "Finding Nemo," I still stick to what I said.
Pixar Animation Studios is probably the best family film company there right now, I really hope that apart
Disney someday and form their own
production company. They know what interests for both children and adults, and is almost creepy
how they can make their films so interesting and fun to watch. This is
to take the children, and then perhaps even go back to again pass
by yourself.
5 / 5 stars - John Ulmer
Has there ever been a better future feature animation
film "Finding Nemo"? We doubt. With its brilliant scenery submarines -
either in the immensity of a vast ocean without limits or overcrowding
confines of a dentist's office aquarium - the film sports a look unlike anything that
Have never seen before. The aquarium establishment, in particular, is a true
wonders of the eye-popping, many-hued visual splendor.
Although the screenplay by Andrew Stanton not scale the heights
of comedy,
say, `Aladdin, '` Shrek' or `Toy Story 2 ' , Which still shines with enough
ingenuity and resourcefulness of entry for young adults and beguile which
joins in his vision. Let me hasten to point out that the screenplay
is blessedly free of all the double entendre and off-color humor that
have ruined both alleged `kiddie 'fare in recent years. This is a film about
and
can do with their children and grandchildren once and not have to blush in embarrassment
or refuse to do so. The creators of children
films
please take note (and note, too, its phenomenal box office take
).
Like many stories designed for the junior series (Dumbo "," Bambi "," etc.),
"Finding Nemo" taps into the fear of all children must be separated
from their parents - and the consequent fear of all parents have to be
separated from their children. This is common ground that members of both generations
will meet in their emotional response to this film.
In this case, there is little Nemo, an adorable clownfish, which is plucked from the ocean and
plunked down in the saltwater aquarium of a dentist in Sydney, Australia
. The theme of the film is the title of Marlin, Nemo's
exaggerated, worrywart dad than anything his way towards the continent
to find and rescue his little tyke. Along the way, this Nervous Nellie
father learns a little something about your child freedom
a child needs to grow and become a man, and Nemo, himself, learns a thing or two about
just what kind of fish his father really is.
Albert Brooks and Ellen DeGeneres are bright as Marlin and Dory,
respectively, the second is a befuddled, Daffy and absolutely good natured fish
that helps Marlin in his epic quest not only for his lost son, but his own
definition of filial love. Those who are familiar with these two fine comic talent
live their performances action really be able to see
many of their own inflections and facial expressions reflected in the animated characters that
are portraying.
As directed by Stanton and Lee Unkrich, and executed by an army of
- wonder working animators and technicians, Finding Nemo ',' making Pixar
technology to its final end level of perfection - the study
until the next version, it is.
