I do not usually attend projections for children" films, but when
first learned of this film, I was very curious to see how Vin Diesel would
a child in the film. I wanted Vin Diesel ever since "
Pitch Black", and while some may dismiss it as a muscle specific action
workhorse, I have always thought that was more to it behind
That the facade, and recalling the skepticism that greeted
Arnold Schwarzenegger's attempts at comedy-skepticism that was greeted with
what I thought becomes successful "Twins" and " Kindergarten Cop ",
I was curious to see how much diesel to play against type.
The result is a film more cutesy and family farce of "Kindergarten Cop
" (the model of my mind kept going back for comparison), with a
Unfortunately, greater child care in waste products, but greater
conflict between Diesel and his young charges, which lends itself to more
heart moments of the relationship-building.
Diesel plays Lt. Shane Wolfe, a Navy SEAL assigned to protect the five children
a senior scientist (Tate Donovan), and find a hidden computer program that can be

Wolfe has the most difficult task of cutting through the layers of resentment
in a pair of teenagers, taking care of a baby and two young children and protect them from
the murderers who come crashing through the windows,
that lends itself to two times really hot when opened
to Seth and Zoe, and some interesting, but surprisingly fun action sequences that seem suggestive
by Jackie Chan, with a very nice setup

This is obviously a film geared more for children, as evidenced by the kooky
overacting, the Swiss silly stereotypes (that I did not even
actually exists), and the ridiculous actions by the bad guys,
such as disclosure, for example, that squirting juice in a box
bad guy's face resembles spraying acid (and somehow keeps the bad guy's
the fall backward in response), but at the same time as
can be a let-down for the older folk, parents are probably happy because
I remember some parents are upset with the scenes more
adults in "Kindergarten Cop".
The bottom line is, bring children to see it, but unless you're a die-hard
Diesel fan, and want to see something you do,
probably will not be his cup tea if you're past elementary school.
It is not rocket science, but who cares. Turn off your brain and
sit down with children for a good solid family comedy.
Vin Diesel plays a tough guy with a big heart, you just need to find it. In the process he
helps save the world and defeating the bad guys. Children who play
family Plummer work well together, you could believe that
could be a real family (and all the problems). Lauren Graham plays the
director of the school and the "love" interest Vin Diesel
very well. Their attraction is "cute" but not exaggerated. Brad Garrett as the vice-principal
expected the wall in front of the characteristics that often
is presented in this script formula. His character is probably one of the main characters
that could have been written better, but it was passable.
