Adapted from books rarely capture the excellence of the novel that are based on
and although the same can be said of 'Stormbreaker',
is still a pretty good movie taking into account the fact that is mainly aimed at
pre-adolescent and adolescent youth audience.
Based on the first of Anthony Horowitz 'Alex Rider' novels, history
focuses on orphans fourteen years Alex Rider who lives with Ian
his uncle, a man who assumes his nephew is a bank employee deaf, but
is actually a fault MI6. When Ian is killed on a mission,
his superiors are determined to recruit Alex To break the case. Influenced
in compliance, Alex is trained at a rate SAS-camp before being sent
undercover to discover the true intentions of psychopath Darius Sayle, who
is planning a national liberation computer has been called < br> Stormbreakers.
At its debut in the big screen as Alex Rider, sixteen-year-old Alex Pettyfer
was a shade too old for the role (which was as high as most adults
Cast, took the shock of his role as a child thrust into danger
). However, despite their lapses when it had become

The fight and action scenes were very well done and represents a strange feeling of
adequately convey the fact that it is a boy in the heat of battle
. We also enjoyed the tributes to James Bond, such as how the main
credits at the beginning exploded on the screen and how Mr Smithers
well complemented Bond's Q. What was also change to better meet
Ian Rider as he is already dead at the beginning of the novel so
never really get a sense of what his character might have been as
(despite that could have done without the stereotype occupied
father-figure/neglected child scenes).
however, there are many low points in the movie. I love Bill Nighy
and it did give a good performance as head MI6 Mr Blunt, but the character
not only come across right. It was too much for slapstick
adequately describe the extreme cold to Mr Blunt, a man who no cree
twice about sending a child in the line of fire. The change in the character of Jack Starbright
also annoying. She does not purport to be a karate expert
or she never directly involved in Alex's
missions so there was absolutely no need for the fight scene. It
irking enough to see the script was poorly handled in terms of maintaining
Alex's role a secret. Instead of both MI6 and Alex himself is highly
care to ensure that nobody ever learns from its part in reducing Sayle,
it's all the news on the film and even his girlfriend knows little
Truth. It ruined the idea that if the hiring of Alex as a child spy
became public, it would be humiliating for MI6 and whatever
opportunity to disrupt normalcy Alex comes to port itself.
For a first outing however, 'Stormbreaker' was pleasant and
probably please young family members, as well as parents dragged along
of. However, unnecessary humorous touches to the film
very likely that many teenagers and twenty-somethings want a little more
'Beef'. Hopefully when it suited 'Punto Blanco', that darker bordure
makes the novel so addictive is maintained.
Many people who have read the Alex Rider series is looking forward to this next film
projected that the incredible adventure of adolescent
spy on the big screen, however many people were afraid to turn this into
another movie Cody Banks and giving a bad image because of the teen spy
recent films… That fear now be forgotten!
Being a fan of the Alex Rider books myself that probably expect a good review
me, but at first I had my doubts as well. Things like
Sabina Pleasure included in this movie, looks like a little risk and
seemed that this movie was going in the direction of a normal teenager
spy movies (The save-the-girl-and-get - house-to-see-the-Simpson's history).
This proved a mistake, the author of the book
incorporated these changes in himself, and now we can call improvements. It seems that if
had another opportunity to make changes, that is, and they were great.
As promised, we have delivered action-packed, surprising and
riveting movie! Book to film transitions usually have their setbacks and
sometimes Displa the audience, but obviously have the
author of the book written the screenplay is very, very good idea.
With great performances by stars like Ewan McGregor, Mickey Rourke
, Bill Nighy, Sophie Okonedo and many others this movie
proved to be an excellent piece of work. Alex Pettyfer was a surprising Alex Rider
offer a performance worthy of an award.
Far from a family film, this movie was packed with solid performance
start to finish. Only last about 90 minutes this proved
sufficient time to adapt to Horowitz 'well-written and a great story into a feature film
, almost every aspect of the plot was included from the
Book.
A true work of art.
