Orin Boyd (Seagal) is a Detroit cop who doesn't follow rules. After he saved the Vice President by violating every order he received he is transferred to one of the worst precincts in the city. There he quickly encounters some corrupt cops selling heroin to drug dealers. The problem is, it's very difficult to tell who is the bad guy and who you can trust.

For a plot with great potential decent and dignified acting as Agents,
this movie could have been much worse. Seagall played its part as a typical
hard mouth and tempered policeman who can not comply with authority figures. DMX
also stars as an alleged criminal involved in the drug game. I was hoping
how
Seagall part of bread, but I was surprised how the DMX
presence and acting were not horrendous, but not much. In general
big effects and some fun plot twists Exit Wounds not a bad movie to sit and monitor
.
Everyone must know when you are preparing to see a film by Steven Seagal
you are not prepared to see a Greek tragedy. What makes "Exit Wounds"
is special, everything is in good fun. There are no pretensions at all.
In fact, even leaves much of the run time for Comic Relief. You have
spectacular action in a corner ... you have
hilarious comedy in the other ... hell more can you ask for?
Seagal has not made an action film in a while, so it was great to see him again in
the silver screen. He's got a lot of Flack to gain a little weight
. OK, so it is heavier than normal. So perhaps he and Sammo Hung
been leaving in the same buffet. But Seagal can still kick butt as he did
Go to "above the law" and "Hard to kill." Its action scenes are always fun to see
. As I tell people, I am not easily aroused by the scenes of action.
I can be just as bored by a scene of action as one would get bored
during an episode of "Masterpiece Theatre". But Seagal's action scenes have a sense of originality and
flares. Big deal. He is not the best actor. Does your
require great dramatic acting work? Would a dramatic monologue
is appropriate, during one of his films? Let us be sensible. I think people
is pretty hard on the man. He is still fresh with me.
In the comedy department, we have the uninhibited Tom Arnold. Arnold plays
stereotypes affected talk show host, who takes anger management classes
with Seagal. There is a hilarious scene where Seagal loses his temper and
launches an attack, the teacher shouting "I am a happy person!"
With anger in his eyes. Then Arnold decides that Seagal would be a perfect guest for his show
. Also, we Anthony Anderson "Me Myself and Irene" fame.
Was one of the lack of mouth Afro-Americans in the brothers Farrelly Brothers comedy
. He gives an even greater opportunity to wield his comic chops in this movie
. In fact, he and Tom Arnold have a hysterically funny
conversation at the end credits, so please do not be so quick to exit the theater
.
DMX is not a fantastic player, but is quite good. The
demonstrates their discipline as an actor in a role that his more limited role in
Hype Williams' "Belly." In this film, almost a character portrayed out of all their videos
rap. So it was not a great stretch. "EW" gives you more
work with them. It is not the role of a lifetime, but a meatier drug trafficking
"gangsta". And mention Jill Hennesy is in the cast? Oh ... mannnnn!
She is an absolute knockout! Perfect eye candy! Throw in a free
strip club scene (which has this film), and we have the ultimate guy movie.
With DMX in the lead, we should naturally expect that some of his songs in the
banda sonora. And he offers some good things. One - which was used in the
previews and fortunately was used in the movie too - is a remix of "Is not No Sunshine
When She's Gone. "It's quite innovative
how to insert a song in a film artist of the banda sound. There is also a scene where DMX
explosions and picking up a car stereo in his song "Why do good
Girls Love Bad Guys."
There is not much depth to "Exit Wounds. "Actually, I do not know if there is
any depth. But a movie like this is meant strictly for exhibition.
And in that department, which actually offers! It's exciting! It's funny!
rousing! It's an emotion one minute! You will not be boring for a second! A
hour and thirty minutes of pure, uninhibited fun! "Exit Wounds"
