A team of scientists from the Pentagon seem to have perfected a serum that causes
invisibility, but when Boffin tries to conduct itself
can not reverse the process. Frustrated and drunk with power, becomes psychotic
in the HG Wells classic tradition.
This is a horrible happily invisible Man story, delivered with enthusiasm by the
tasteful ever Verhoeven and Bacon as the genius
become manic-loonytoon. As with much of the work that Verhoeven has
a terrible feeling of unrestricted Boy's Own-the comic book adventure (
secret underground laboratory where scientists is nothing but work wonderful)
combined with the most horrible and depraved visual (
women in their underwear and Grope is attacked by an invisible Fiend, animals
beaten to death, literally gallons of blood and wholesale slaughter in < br> the last two rolls). While the story does not ring any new twists on an old idea
, special effects CG Scott E. Anderson are eye-poppingly bright
as we can see the veins and arteries, cardiovascular systems,
muscles, tissue, bones and meat, literally, all appear out of thin air.
In particular, a sequence where the team bring a gorilla back
invisible state and the place where Bacon Devane drowning in a bath
pool, are absolutely stunning in detail and artistic invention
the effects. The film also has a great banda sonora de Jerry Goldsmith
and classic horror movie-photography Jost Vacano. Young people are cast
quite overshadowed by the film's technical pedigree, but both
Shue and Dickens are impressively of their depth. This is a great fun
unpleasant film.
Sebastian Caine and his team have worked tirelessly to develop a formula that
can not just turn invisible animals, but also bring back to normal
at will. With Governmental pressure on them to show results, Sebastian
decides who will be the first human to try the formula. The
becomes invisible for a short time, however efforts to bring him back and leave you are stuck
himself. As work continues on the formula, the other in the laboratory
begin to notice that increasingly Unhinged.
Verhoven director of the rule is expected
great special effects and violence. It has also been known to integrate themes and good stories in
these effects, mainly driven films. On this occasion, however he did not really
is that the left and with a quick and enjoyable film that makes
within the meaning of what it lacks substance. The plot is fairly basic and
never goes deeper - Sebastian descent into madness is not really a drop
both as a short trip that is not really built just as
delivered. In his post, however, the effects are really impressive and
make the movie worth seeing, simply because not only are great, but
are also used very well in the action and not just in the
film.
The breakdown is fine, but do not really have much to work in terms of material.
Bacon is much more interesting if not on the screen when he is.
His character is too thin and not represent any kind of `Descent 'in its behavior
character. Shue is pretty good and seems to enjoy running round
with a flamethrower. The rest of the cast are well but basically only act as
forage in the way that a standard slasher movie actors
must be disposed of as the film rolls.

I loved this movie, because it is very expensive special effects film
que se basa en el spectacle to keep things moving. The effects are large and have
mind away from the lack of real substance and action
the end is very nice. A very good movie special effects
as long as you do not expect anything else.
