Michael is a recovering alcoholic/drug user. Back on the wagon, he's now responsible for a young, beautiful, and pregnant wife. He's working the graveyard shift at a gas station to support his new family, but the job drives him crazy. Then a wealthy stranger, Stuart, enters Michael's life, taking Michael through a tour of the seediest and slimiest parts of L.A. underbelly. Is Stuart leading Michael to hell, or salvation?

Even I did not watch the entire movie - yet. I remain in the catch in
Showtime and 2:00 in the morning. He Comcast, and I want
that just release the damn movie in On-Demand, so I could see it
a reasonable time (that is, in my time, rather than during

anyway, which moved me about the piece was the mood, and the plain
Simple. I love Peter Weller's performance in this film. It was the
The only thing that caused me to name a song of my own after the film -
Shadow Hours. It even allows me to the title of an album of mine with that name (if
nobody cares or do not know, may appoint a work
anything you want - without worrying about copyright infringement. Titles are not
copyright. Period.)

Once again - a worthy viewing. I agree with the latest presentation here
- Yes, the story is not original, and yes, Michael Mann is a director
better than most anyway. I just received a kick from
Weller's character and characterizations.

I started to see Shadow Hours a night on Foxtel (Australia).
Very soon I realized that I had to see everything through how
the suspense regarding the mysterious rich man (Stuart) kept in
building. The film is about a journey of a young (Holloway)
to the dark side of the city's nightlife with that mysterious rich man.
Holloway is a former drug addict and is supporting his wife
pregnant with her first child, working through a grave yard return for petrol station
(yes call for petrol in Australia:). He knows
a rich man wearing it very strange to clubs and places. That sparks
a battle of conscience within Holloway and finally achieves escape
so following a path very hard.
The film reminded me of 8mm in which Nicholas Cage is deep in the dark and ugly
of porn, gambling and psycho very few things in the search for
Lack of a girl. Shadow Hours also leads us to all these patients places where
first, I do not understand what kind of people who
you want to go through this repugnant lifestyle. But if you think a little more than
you probably noticed that most people who
hang around these places and abused people like Stuart
are mentally ill and probably are not accepted by society. In hanging around
those places people like Holloway who often are at the border of sanity
can influence a terrible way. Anyway the film is entertaining and
and I think I can recommend it to everyone liked
8mm.
