Jeffrey Beaumont returns to his small town home when his father
have an accident and ends at the hospital. A quiet ride home to change their perception when
always finds a human ear in the long grass. The report that
but the police decided to ask some questions himself with the help of the

For most people, either as Lynch or disliked.
Personally I like most of his work, I love the sense of normalcy
he can create and change slowly to reveal a darkness that is worryingly
near the surface. Such is the case here, starting with a blue sky, white picket fence
vision small town of americas camera
falls on the grass to see a torrent of coding errors just below the surface. In the same way
the film follows the journey of Jeffrey in the lower abdomen
his home city.
Somehow this is one of Lynch's films easier to enter -
here the darkness is not a big world of demons as in Fire Walk With Me, but is
a man and his associates that can be overcome. The darkness is, therefore,
accessible to everyone, but it is laced with barely enough to disrupt Curiosity -
my favorite scene is when Frank leads Jeffrey to see Ben, is a little disturbing
. In contrast with this is the fact that it is easily one of its most optimistic
films, good angel in the life of Jeffrey is a strong character and
the end is a certainty that more open to interpretation --
robin that has a clear meaning, as it can.
MacLachlan is widely used as Jeffrey. He is wide and innocent eyes, even if
being sucked into the underworld. Dern plays "-all of americas', but well
not have the complexity of MacLachlan in the script.
Rossellini has a role and a challenge that brings out quite well - I do not quite understand
his character but I do not know if that was my fault or theirs. Of course, the movie belongs to
Hopper terrifyingly that is unstable. Undoubtedly
is a monster and that never left in any doubt as to their mood. For
an example of his work here to see the scene where Stockwell (
in a wonderfully strange cameo) sings and Hopper clearly rests with
pieces. Although I prefer
Fire Walk With Me, I think this is the best
Lynch film. It is strange without going completely overboard and that allows us to sink into the low
world gradually, without sudden falls. Hopper all controls
scene that is, but the meeting of wholesome and rare is perfectly
delivered and is a trademark Lynch.

Review : David Lynch films are paintings come to life, this has
very much to do with the fact that Lynch is a painter himself and brings
artistic viewpoint to make his film. Like a good painting,
his films tell a story, as well as an abstract painting,
is not always easy to ascertain. But what treatment is to try.
Blue Velvet is a story about a young man returns to his hometown
to visit his father who is ill in hospital. Upon his return he
ofendiere in a frightening discovery: a human ear lying on the grass as
walks through the woods behind his parents home. Then
that takes itself to discover where the ear of wine and discovers that
ear to be the reason why becomes apparent that this is in fact a
very strange and dangerous world in we live
Lynch is synonymous with the strange and unusual and Blue Velvet
is a good example. For those who have ventured into territory Lynchian
with films like Mullholland Dr. Lost Highway or preparing to
some more crazy images and situations in poor condition. But Ill be honest
this time, despite the situations and images are very, very surreal and strange
of history itself is fairly easy to understand. Lost Highway
remains a total mystery to me until today, Mullholland Dr.
I had to do around 6 times to find out .... But despite Blue Velvet
equally strange and fascinating as the films mentioned,
is really easy to follow and understand.
I loved Kyle MacLachlans character and is very interesting to see him go through
changes facing after he makes his discoveries
. He is not exactly the same after he already sees things
he sees and does things he does. Loved that scene in which Laura Dern
tries to give that view, although there are some crazy things in this world
there is some good obliged to appear sooner or later. Laura
Derns character was beautiful and innocent, the only thing that could bring balance to
MacLachlans character. By far the most interesting and memorable
thing in this movie is Dennis Hoppers character, it
my friends, I am talking about the mad, mad, sex-crazed freak
known as Frank Booth.
Frank Booth is one of those characters who just oozes with evil.
You do not feel like his actor playing a villain this, when that happens you stop believing
said it was totally dangerous villain. Not so here.
Hopper glances, breathing and speaking pure evil! His kind of fear that
could actually be people like him in the real world. His
scenes and dialogue is really disturbing things ....." Ill f # # @ C
anything that moooves! "
I loved the visual aspect of the film-which was as usual in a
Lynch - film of great beauty. You may be looking into slices and ears human
insane fans sex ... but everything is photographed in the context of beautiful colors
amazing, exotic sets of shadows and lights. Great visual
. The music is also incredible. Lynch seems to be fond of lounge singers
cause largely as it did in Mullholland Drive at the Club
Silence, we have another very similar to one sequence, with Isabella Rossellini
us singing "Blue Velvet "the title song. And there is also a
sequence that is very, very strange sense of humour and even attractive .... Dean Stockwell
singing Roy Orbinsons "dreams". Awesome sequence,
one of the most memorable sequences in this movie or any other film Lynch. When
who comes on stage, you are transported to another time and place.
At what time and place is bad you leave.
All in all a great movie of Lynch not to be missed. A masterpiece that allows
I know why Lynch is one of the greatest directors of americas never
in the business of making bizarre, beautiful film.
