Romantic comedy set in London in the late 16th century: Young playwright William Shakespeare struggles with his latest work "Romeo and Ethel the Pirate's Daughter". A great fan of Shakespeare's plays is young, wealthy Viola who is about to be married to the cold-hearted Lord Wessex, but constantly dreams of becoming an actress. Women were not allowed to act on stage at that time (female roles were played by men, too), but dressed up as a boy, Viola successfully auditions for the part of Romeo. Soon she and William are caught in a forbidden romance that provides rich inspiration for his play.

I went to see this movie without knowing what to expect. On the one hand,
was excited, because you see, I am a great English and here is this movie
based on the life of William Shakespeare. In the field of Shakespeare
rip-off (that is, "Romeo & Juliet", "Macbeth", etc.). "Shakespeare in Love"
stood out clearly. This is the first film I've seen on the basis of the author,
instead of their work. And it was a refreshing change to see the most pompous
fed Hollywood ego trying to pass in front of themselves as real actors
.
At the same time, however, the casting I was a little nervous. I had not seen Joseph Fiennes
work, but I had high hopes because his brother is, in my opinion
, a brilliant actor. I liked Gwyneth Paltrow in "Emma" and "Sliding Doors
," but I was cautious to see how they pull it off. And as for
Ben Affleck .. Otherwise, I fear that actually flop. I saw in
"Armageddon" and immediately racked him in the list of other
forgettable as actors .. well never mind. The point is, I fear that
would make a laughing-stock of this movie. As for the other actors,
I did not recognize any other person except Judi Dench, and I thought hers was a bit role,
anything that could affect much this movie.
I wrong in almost all counts. Gwyneth Paltrow was so radiant in this film
quite set the screen on fire. I did not know he had such a variety.
I had not expected such fire in her, I always thought it was a quiet place
actress, incapable of such passions. Joseph Fiennes surprise me much more than
his brother that he knows how to balance wit and passion, joy and sadness
with grace, even more than Ralph. Together, these two actors made more
that lead away from the movie, but it rose to levels higher than any other
players I've seen in a long time. Judi Dench may have had a bit role,
but she managed to do a lot of him. He served with Queen Elizabeth
majesty and grace more than any other game of the Queen actress I've seen. (I've yet to see Cate
Blansett in the film "Elizabeth.") But the truth of
darkhorse this film is Ben Affleck. My God, he has a sense of humor!
Never imagined. "Armageddon" does not give much space to roam, but in this
the film was all over the place. He had not been flanked by those worthy
thespians, who just might have stolen the show.
The actors could not have made such a wonderful job if it were not, of course
, for writing. The book flows smoothly, with nary a glitch in
sight. This is worthy of note, since it is well over 100 minutes.
Is written in a style that is both intelligent and deep, passionate and dry. Love is a
of the most abused notions on the screen today. It is rare to see a film portraying
Love with the utmost originality and truth as this movie has done
. Perhaps the greatest compliment I can pay this movie I did in the
Christmas night, when I went to go see this movie. As the movie ended
actors and names scrolled on the screen, the tears on my cheeks trickled
. I must say that it is not often a movie makes me mourn. And do not underestimate
me just because I am a girl and because
may be more sensitive, because you see, my boyfriend left the theater with suspicion
eyes bright as well ..
In the film Shakespeare in Love, a young and promising
William Shakespeare
is struggling to write a new play. The feeling that you've lost your gift
for stringing together phrases and eloquent yearning
some sort of inspiration to rid him of his horrible writer's block. William
meets the beautiful Viola and real, which is yearning to be an actress. She becomes his muse
, as well as the initiative "actor" in his new play Romeo and Juliet, as
that weave a tangled love story. This burning passion can only feel
finish with the separation when Viola is forced to marry Lord Wessex and become
americas. This film is a wonderful combination of romance, comedy, drama and
which seeks a new perspective to the classic Romeo and Juliet story. This
employs dialogue intelligent, beautiful scenes, and wonderful characterization
to entertain the audience. The film
Renaissance dialogue is true to its time period. With such
excellent screenplay, William is likely to appeal to the captain's speech
he really is. Parts of the film are purely fun as almost to parody
the seriousness of Romeo and Juliet. Other parties are intertwined lines
the real work, like many bedroom scenes between Will and Viola,
to provide a unique and obvious parallel between it and cinema. When
Comillas' compare yourself to a summer's day? "Viola,
this provides not only a sentimental scene, but the actual words of Shakespeare to
add to the historical content of this movie. This film has an interesting twist
in the tragic history why not just become a writer pouring out
lines payment, but a man pouring out his heart in true love.
At the end of the film, Romeo and Juliet is presented as if they were really
sitting on the ground floor of the theater. You can see the game through the
the eyes of a person in England during the late 1500's, except this time the
driving is no longer Romeo and Juliet but literarily and symbolically Will < br>
and Viola.
The establishment of this movie is very well done, and the Playhouse, taverns,
and elegant houses convey a sense of rebirth in England. The
costumes,
including Queen Elizabeth the glamorous dresses and the body of Viola-configuration
corset apparently are accurate. (I would have hated the use of
clothes!) The scenes between Will and Viola are rarely anything but love
scenes, and that, like its counterpart scenes from Romeo and Juliet,
Most
happen at night. This adds to the mystery and feeling
banned the movie. The characterization of this movie was very well done.
I could not help but fall in love with the beautiful emotion that Gush
from
Will and Viola (is very good indeed).
When the couple separated in the end, I felt like a terrible evil has been committed
. The character of Queen Elizabeth, with commentaries and Snider
all-knowing attitude, was a comic representation of a serious situation
that kept me totally entertaining. Christopher Marlowe also provides a wonderful character
transmitting `real person" qualities
competition between two famous playwrights.
I found this film to devote himself completely from start to finish, but I
do not recommend it to everyone. I think it really could be
given the title "Chick Flick" by some spectators, despite its fight scenes and comic
devices. The viewer will have a knowledge of the Renaissance period and its
characteristics at the same time get the feeling of knowing the great
William Shakespeare, however inaccurate description of will can be. I feel that
now appreciate Romeo and Juliet with a new sense of understanding
that can only come in search of an old story in a new light.
