When their father dies, Ernie & Lars inherit an old house and the family string factory. Lars, the loyal son, refuses to sell out the factory, which angers his wife so she kicks him out. Ernie, who runs a five-star restaurant, is suddenly fired when a man dies in while eating there. With no other place to go, the brothers shack up at the old house, suddenly realizing the place is worth a fortune! The boys decide to fix up the place and sell it in an auction, but first, they have to get rid of a mouse living in the walls. Sounds easy enough, right? Think again...

Many have asked me child, but who can not love this movie?
I am very surprised that the IMDb has said low rating. I
expected to be much higher. This is not a "Yay, Glamour of Hollywood Cinema," is only a little
simple slapstick comedy, with a mouse as the centre of all
chaos. Unfortunately, I missed this film when I took me a
trip abroad, so I have not seen since. But when he arrived for the first time, I
be seen twice daily. I thought it was fun! Nathan Lane and Lee Evans
are great in their roles, Vicki Lewis and just shines, but the real
applause goes to the mouse that caused all the problems
in the first place. Such a wee little thing, a poor little creature, and
makes the main character of life in an inferno when
trying to get rid of him. But it is not really the fault of the mouse. God no!
This is the fault of human beings. The mouse is trying to fight for their own survival
when his house was threatened.
With Nathan Lane, Lee Evans, Vicki Lewis and
Moon Macwilliams, age 6, Chicago, IL .- 10 stars. "I love this movie
because there are real people and a mouse and is actually funny!
I also like the mouse's secret tricks that the viewer will wonder how -
what are you doing? Check out swinging mouse across an abyss in a light bulb
chain! It's incredible! "Kris has this movie-star 8. Moon,
age 6, gave him 10 stars and I thought since this is a family film, I
might not have seen without it, deserve a voice. She gives much
flicks for children 10 stars, but not all. I thought that the film captures the
perfect style of a caricature, but done in live action.
There are some films that come to mind in the past who withdrew from the cartoon feel, the Coen
the Hudsucker Proxy, or even more, Raising Arizona, Tim Burton's
early films and a few others. None can be perfectly shot as
style cartoons as Mousehunt however, and none can be perfectly
for children aged 3 to 10. Some of its visual pleasures could be called
cinematic joy, as big as all of Welles or acquired by Lean.
There is a cast of a house white plastic cake on a white background which is dissolved in
a white house on a hill of snow white to be recorded in each film
school. There are shadows and use of water that would
Ingmar Bergman proud. And, of course, is the mouse. The effects
and photography are so well that convinced the child was real
and really intelligent and acrobatic. Lee Evans and Nathan Lane are perfectly cast
black and white characters. They do not look like they are related
, Evan is too beautiful and too Lane that is, but hey, is for children
film. Their characters work perfectly in the world of cartoons that inhibit
. They make you laugh, no matter how old you are.
Christopher Walken plays an exterminator and it is right before he became
sobreexpuestas any other film hip. His best
dialogue comes off the screen of a VCR. Walken could be just as fun on the radio
suppose, in all its verbiage. Therefore, rent or buy this for the family.
is one of the few jewels that will take you all laughing at the same
joke.
