When an experimental space voyage goes awry, four people are changed by cosmic rays. Reed Richards, inventor and leader of the group gains the ability to stretch his body, and takes the name, Mr. Fantastic. His girlfriend, Sue Storm, gains the ability to turn invisible and create force fields, calling herself the Invisible Woman. Her younger brother Johnny Storm gains the ability to control fire, including covering his own body with flame, becoming the Human Torch. Pilot Ben Grimm is turned into a super-strong rock creature calling himself Thing. Together, they use their unique powers to explore the strange aspects of the world, and to foil the evil plans of Doctor Doom.

The Fantastic Four is a good superhero movie but lacked
something. I do not think that really the height of his endless fashion
earlier this year. Apart from a few scenes that stick out, most are in
the trailer, there is not much there other than some slick special effects
sprayed on. Understandably, however,
due to the fact that this movie is about the origin of 5 different individuals and how
won their super powers. I imagine the next (of course, if there is a next
) will be more action-packed.
As a quick summary of the history, 5 people are sent into a space ship
to obtain information that would be useful for curing diseases and
other good things. The crew consists of Ben Grimm (Michael Chiklis),
Reed Richards (Ioan Gruffudd), Johnny Storm (Chris Evans),
Sue Storm (Jessica Alba) and Victor Von Doom (Julian McMahon). While in space
station, the super cosmic storm hour earlier than expected and the 5
are caught in the storm, provided by altering their DNA (or something like that
as well). The only thing received was the worst Grimm.
The highlight of this movie are The Thing / Ben Grimm, Johnny
Storm / Human Torch and Sue Storm / Invisible Girl. The Thing and the Torch stand
because of both their characters and personalities and Jessica Alba
stressed enough, just because she is Jessica Alba.
believe that Reed Richards was more than a nuisance in the film and not
likable as a character, such as the human torch. Moreover, I am afraid that Dr. Doom
, probably forever be compared with that of Green Goblin
Spider-Man, because of the Hokey masks and everything. Moreover, the voice of Doom
not very appropriate for me. I'm not sure if his voice is supposed to be docile
that or not, but I always imagined a deeper, more menacing voice
to him.
I hope that this movie is not as critical as films like Hulk and Daredevil
. This film was not so bad, probably not even as bad as I have done apparently
. I would like the rate at somewhere between X-Men and Daredevil
. 7.5/10
I do not understand the reason behind the bad reviews and comments submitted
to this movie, I mean this movie was pretty good, I think
one of the main reasons behind this is that the Fantastic Four never been as popular
some of the other Marvel comics, so that people do not really care to see how this
as much as Spiderman or X-men, personally Ben Grimm was one of the most outstanding characters
, Jessica Alba as Sue Storm is one of the main reasons
for me to see the film for obvious reasons. Chris Evans as Johnny Storm
is quite fun all along the film.
I really enjoyed the film from start to finish. It is a great
entertaining film, but maybe fell short in time, could have been a little longer
but that seemed a little finish quickly. My main point
for this review is to inform people just to see the film
with an open mind.
