Creaking with metaphors, is a nice story to see, with a knockout cast
well trained to act as a whole. But plods along, documenting
conducting a wedding quilt that incorporates
life of each person who contributes to it. Finn Dodd (what horrible name), which plays
of Ryder, in his attempt and mysterious best, is spending the summer with her aunts
while finishing his thesis. She is also dedicated to Sam
(Mulroney), which appears to be most in need, as Finn seems to be getting closer
coldfeet. The quilt is a gift for the wedding of Finn, and is a work of
love among a group of women whose lives are intertwined in the northern
California wine country, each sewing a group
that expresses the theme, "Where is the love." But love is found in many different places
among these women - sisters of Hy and Glady Jo, entertainingly played
of Bancroft and Burstyn , Which are exactly the kind of aunts
want anyone in his family, the prickly Em (Simmons), and the unconventional
Constance (Nelligan). So many different stories, as interpreted by groups
padding, do not always make a nice quilt, and
much negotiation and compromise is the very nature of

not serve any of these actresses. One expects such greatness

their collective talent better. The concept of history

Moorhouse, has to work hard to maintain the history of fragmentation in

ensures that this is fine entertainment on a lazy day.
