(Spoilers! Spoilers! Does not Know if I do not want spoilers !!!)< br>
I, like much of the population of americas, grew up watching Looney Tunes. Those

old classic cartoons are just about the only thing that strikes me as equally fun

now as I did when I was three, if not more. When I walked in "Looney Tunes
Backstroke

In Action" I realized that the people behind it are mere pretenders to the throne
Chuck Jones
. I riostras for me the fact that it can suck. No matter
.
I consider myself an animation buff, and this was a movie Looney Tunes, a

tribute to the funniest cartoons ever made.

I sat, suffered through what seemed worth three hours of ads
(this was

a theater AMC) and then, when the film began, I proceeded to smile as a Loon

for ninety minutes.

The film had everything. Tremenda animation, direction and special effects that

combined live action and animation seamlessly, a speed that
almost headed the original cartoons, and most of all the great writing. When

Jenna Elfman matter Warner executive recalled that his films have combined
950000 dollars gross, Simpsonian your answer is "That's not a billion".

a restaurant scene, Porky Pig and Speedy Gonzales regret the need for a PC
while Shaggy and Scooby Matthew Lilliard give a chew-deserved. And
having the villain be the head of the ACME corporation
was a brilliant touch, and Steve Martin
casting for the role was the icing on the cake.

Brendan Fraser and Elfman do what you're there, neither more nor less. They

establish
up comedy pin Bugs and Daffy to knock down. The cartoons are the true stars here
, especially Daffy, who after decades of get blown off its peak

finally gets the chance to play the hero. I loved that the writers were able

to find the perfect blend between Bob Clampett "Woo-Hoo, Whoo-Hoo" and the duck
Chuck Jones "You're Dithpicable" duck. And the voices are as dead in

as possible with Mel Blanc died. I still prefer a little voice
Bugs Billy West (
Space Jam) Joe Alaskey, but this is a minor quibble.

At first, when I learned that Eric Goldberg
would direct the animation,

my confidence in the project soared. Goldberg was the supervising animator of the

Genius in Aladdin, a film that Jones calls itself the most fun

ever done. If there is someone to live up to redo the songs for the new
milloonium, he is.

The film of the piece of resistance, however, is a sequence that takes place in

the Louvre in Paris, in which Elmer Fudd chases Bugs Bunny and Daffy across all
paintings, and as they take on the running styles of Dali, Munch and Seurat

among others. The cultural scene knowledge Chuck Jones recalls in

better.

With the exception of this scene (and perhaps even without exception
), the

the film does not aspire to be high art. Simply aspires to be fun, and
success
triumphantly. It's definitely the best "classic cartoon

interacting with live actors' films since Roger Rabbit, is great fun and more focused
that
Space Jam, and contains none of saccharin learning the lesson that
ruined
The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle. It is simply
fun.

is mandatory product placement, but also occurs due to

the movie never ends speil of mockery: "It was nice sure Wal-Mart

to give us all this free
Wal-Mart to change things to say Wal-Mart either. "Some people

have complained about this, but I say that the filmmakers are simply having

their cake and eating it too. These same complain noted that the film

is chock full of cross-referencing with other products such as Scooby Doo Warner

and Batman. The fact is that, after seeing this movie did not want to see the next

Batman movie, or suffer the sequel Scooby Doo, or (shudder) is directed at Wal-Mart

more than I do what I made before the previews ended. Maybe I am the exception

rather than the rule, but I think that companies pay for their products in films

are mostly losing their money.

This brings me to the bane of my existence: Bloody critics, or BCS. Some of these are
comments from people who simply did not get it, and the comments I

able to brush off. But the worst are those who claim to be fans of animation

which mostly came together against the cheapening of the great works of art that

were the original Chuck Jones cartoons . The kind of people who had

college courses of study that these cartoons because they were too lazy for a real
literature. People who have to Chuck Jones as a sacred place, which

consider that blasphemy to leave "What's Opera Doc" compared to the recent series of DVDs.

say, these BCS have lost sight of something very important. Despite
Chuck Jones that occasionally make a caricature that made you think
as well as laugh
(Duck Amuck, What's Opera Doc, One Froggy Evening), I would say

at least 75% of its production does not have great aspirations, and

simply meant to be entertaining and fun. From time to time make cartoons that

false Wagner and other classics, but more often than parody
then
- current pop cultural entities such as Buck Rogers and Errol Flynn. Look

those Road Runner cartoons: they are almost all the same! But is
question?

Of course not. What matters is how fun they are, and how much they laugh. I say

the same principle applies to this movie. The film contains countless

references to recent pop culture, and perhaps the best of all is an injection of Bugs

catch a fish and say "Hey, whaddaya know - I have found Nemo! "If you can not just sit

back and laugh at that, and yet you consider yourself an animation buff, I shake

my head and wonder why .
The Looney Tunes gang is that once again, in a wonderful combination of

same old lovable, predictable jokes and occasional fresh, new perspective.
Bugs and Daffy are joined by Porky, Speedy, Sam, Granny, Marvin. . .
the list goes on and on. (Some characters only make cameo appearances, but I enjoyed seeing all
.) You need to know that starred Brendan Fraser in
"The Mummy" and that Timothy Dalton made a brief time as James Bond few
a few years ago, to really appreciate some of the jokes, but this movie is going to maintain that
laughter for the full ninety minutes and then some!

Tips for those who rent this movie:

1. Do not expect an award-winning "film,"
only expect a good time.

2. If you do not like the mood of people or cartoons or movies looming in the fun
yes, rent something else.

3. Do not eat while watching this film (unless similar suffocation in his
popcorn / raisinettes / etc)!

4. Do not be afraid to pause the movie if you breathe, visit the
facilities, or clean the gas just did a spit-take.
