I am generally not a fan of romantic comedies tend to be quite
brainless, you see one and you saw all kinds of things. How ever
I was pleasantly surprised with Suburban Girl, you do not
leads to the same old argument that apparently all romantic comedies go. I am sure that
know what it means, boy meets girl, boy and girl fall in love,
boy loses girl, boy gets girl in the final. On the other hand, was presented to a young woman
, self-assured, looking at his relationship with an older man
to give the answers that she can not seem to find. This is not your usual fare
, and is a well-acted and fun to watch in May December romance. I think
Alec Baldwin and Sarah Michelle Gellar, has worked well with each other
, giving a very good perfromances. I would go see it again.
Honestly, I am a firm hates chick-flicks. However, Sarah Michelle Gellar
is my favorite actress and I am going to see anything that is in. Therefore,
Seeing that she was in a movie that expects much like a typical movie
chicken - I was hesitant ... but not enough hesitant.
I was pleasantly surprised to find a place nice and charming little
in the movie 'Suburban Girl "and not the cliches mess you might expect. SMG
and Alec Baldwin have incredible chemistry and history is interesting
and switches on many aspects of our main characters and non-life
to focus on their relationship.
Brett Eisenberg (Sarah Michelle Gellar) is an assistant editor of books
living in New York. His life changes when
catches the attention of Archie Knox (Alec Baldwin), an elderly editor in chief of a major publisher
. They are the earliest dating and Brett soon moves with Archie.
however, when the new boss arrives, Brett's father gets sick and
Archie admits to a few problems, her life begins to change.
This film is basically your light, fluffy little world to escape
about 90 minutes. There is little depth and concentration
necessary but it is a funny and moving film
help some great performances and the direction competent.
