Download Movie JawsMartin Brody is the new police chief of Amity, an island resort town somewhere in New England. He has a wife named Ellen, and two sons named Michael and Sean. On a Summer morning, Brody is called to the beach, where the mangled body of Summer vacationer Chrissie Watkins has washed ashore. The medical examiner tells Brody that it could have been a shark that killed Watkins. Mayor Larry Vaughn, who is desperate to not lose the money that will be brought in by 4th of July tourists, wants Brody to say Watkins's death was caused by a motorboat propeller instead of a shark, because the thought of a shark in Amity's waters would drive tourists away from Amity. It looks like Vaughn is a mayor who puts money ahead of people's lives. Shark expert Matt Hooper believes Watkins was killed by a shark. Hooper is proven right a few days later, when Alex Kintner is killed by the shark that killed Watkins. Looking for the quickest solution, Vaughn tells all of the local fishermen to let him know if they see the shark. A shark hunter named Quint offers to find the shark and kill it, but Vaughn thinks Quint's price of $10,000 is too high. When a tiger shark is killed and hauled in by a couple of boaters, Vaughn hastily says that the shark crisis is over, but Hooper says the shark that's been killing people a huge great white shark is still in Amity's waters, but Vaughn leaves the beaches opened because all he cares about is the 4th of July tourist money. On the 4th of July, Vaughn encourages people to swim at the beach, and Hooper is proven right again when the shark kills a man, biting the man's leg off. Michael, who was in the water at the time of the attack, is taken to the hospital, where he's treated for shock after watching the shark kill the guy. Brody asks Vaughn to hire Quint to find the shark. Because his own kids were at that beach too, Vaughn agrees to hire Quint to find the shark. Quint, Hooper, and Brody are sent out to sea in Quint's boat, the Orca, ready to do whatever it takes to find the shark.

Occasionally the right talents are in the right place
together and reach a masterpiece. "Jaws" is definitely one of those
films, it is thanks to the incredible cast and crew of the classic
masterpiece it is today.

Let's face it, the story is dumb and stupid and a very average.
Spielberg becomes magically the fool in a tense thriller
exciting story with dialogue and brilliant scene of the classic. Mark my words, "Jaws" is a film that never
is considered obsolete.

Everything in the film works so well! The action, dialogue,
tension, humor typical of Spielberg, music, everything! It is difficult
mention just one thing why this movie is a masterpiece. It is the mixture of
all combined makes the film work.
Probably my favorite thing about the film would be dialogue, are very raw and a good performance
the perfect cast. Another thing, of course, would be music and
I'm not just talking about the main topic, but of the entire musical score
in general.

The cast is large but they are mainly large together. All
Scheider / Shaw / Dreyfuss scene as three ingredients are thrown together
and the end result is pure gold.

And that shark Bruce. Yes, even now really seems credible
days.

A true classic masterpiece that launched the career of Spielberg

10/10
Jaws is not a movie with any deep insights into the human condition
, nor significant philosophical message.

simple story of a small beach side in New England that is
terrorized by a giant great white shark at the beginning of its summer tourist season
. It was designed to be a crowd-pleasing,
action horror movie with no pretensions to serious art, yet despite
is modest aspirations in this regard, it is one of the most entertaining and
exciting films ever made. If I had to make a list of
films I thought were the ten greatest of all time, this should take place
is beside the formidable competition, such as Citizen Kane
and wild strawberries. The acting, directing, editing-and, of course, the famous John Williams
-Result are all among the best in any film
americas.

This Steven Spielberg was the first major commercial success, and although
subsequent list of films is one of the most impressive of any
director of the americas contemporary, this is my favorite.

Gypsum is also superior fit.

Roy Scheider inhabits the character of police chief Martin Brody
like a second skin. Newly arrived from New York, he is an outsider among
Snooty and elitist "islanders" Friendship.

After a couple is murdered in an apparent shark attack, who is
himself in the unenviable position of having to close the beaches right
before the start of the lucrative summer tourist season. This
inevitably puts him at odds with the city and business owners
is corrupt and venal mayor (Murray Hamilton), which coerces the coroner
change the cause of death "accident navigation. "

The beaches remain open despite Brodie's
protests and a young child was killed as his mother and other onlookers watch in horror. The
grieving mother puts out a reward for sharks, and a wild game for the predatory marine
presents an impressive catch.

In the midst of this melee ichthyologist a young man named
Matt Hooper (Richard Dreyfus) appear after being called by the beleaguered
police chief. Although the catch is identified as a shark and tigre
man known to eat, it is doubtful that fish is responsible for
two deaths. After finding the tooth of a large white helmet
a boat owned by a local fisherman, died during an attempt to win the
reward for the murderer of fish, Brody and Hooper tries in vain to persuade
The mayor to close the beaches. He refuses and the monster shark
claims another victim.

With the summer season in ruins, the town hires an eccentric
local fisherman with the name of Quint to kill sharks. Robert Shaw is
outstanding in this rough and weathered sea salt that has very personal reasons to hate
entire species of shark. Her monologue about the sinking of
U.S.S. Indianapolis and the subsequent killing of sharks
is one of the most disturbing scenes ever filmed.

reluctantly agreed to let Brody and Hooper accompany him aboard his fishing vessel
timeworn ORCA the three men listed in the search for
great white. The relationship that eventually develops between this unlikely trio
is a wonderful example of acting chemistry.
These three characters are so different from each other as can be, and tensions between them
, such as those pursued by sharks, helping to drive the film is
explosive conclusion.

've seen this movie in the summer of 1975 when I was ten years.
Was the most successful of all time until that date and was immediately blown
beyond. It is equally effective after twenty nine years, and for
today still have a irrational fear of swimming, even in fresh water
, although I am fully aware of the extreme unlikelihood of a
Shark Attack .

No other film has had a lasting effect on me.
