While returning from a deep-space mission, the crew of the commercial spaceship Nostromo is awakened by a supposed SOS call from a system they are passing through. Descending to the planet's surface, they discover a strange derelict spaceship - the apparent source of the transmission - and one of the crew descends into the hold. What he finds are thousands of strange alien eggs. While examining one of the eggs, it hatches and the parasite inside attacks him. After returning to the Nostromo the crew takes off again to head for Earth. The alien parasite subsequently dies and all seems well again. But what no one knows is that another alien is quietly forming within its host - and when it emerges, the crew finds itself in serious trouble...

The start of one of the greatest series of all time. This film is
always remain a classic. It is fear, influential and insanely entertaining.
Not only that, but Ridley Scott has done a great sense of style and humor
and he who plays with a lot to make us tremble. There is also an interesting mystery that surrounds
abroad we know virtually nothing about
. Sigourney Weaver is as powerful as usual and really brings
strength to the film, but make one. Last but not least, the musical score.
Wow! It's fantastic. I think the Alien series is known for
this aspect as well. Let's hope that will continue the series and we need all dang DVD
!
The more we went to special effects, most films show us and ignore the
not be seen, the more people will like this
dark horrors.
It is difficult to see in this film without considering the consequences and knowing
himself abroad, but when it became abroad was mostly invisible and a
mystery. It's hard to forget what you've seen, but it is important
approach this movie first, if possible, instead of joining the series
afternoon.
It is incredible that this is more than 20 years old - except for actors who seek
so young, the film does not feel dated at all. The sci-fi visions
here are still dark and futuristic as it was then - this is not the Star Trek
vision. The apprehension existed long before John Hurt
spills his secret, the direction of Scott is excellent throughout. Once abroad is "born"
tension is crank and the characters sent, one by one (
formula we know oh-so well now!)
But here the characters are not merely exotic foods, but some have
dimension to them. Weaver is excellent, while the supporting cast is full of
strong support from actors (Stanton, Kotto, Hurt, Skerritt, Holm), but of course
the true star is that we see less.
barely see abroad in detail, most of the time is set to
shadows, moving with deadly intent.The foreigner here is not simply an assassination
machine as seen in films, but later was cruel to him. Witness abroad trap
a woman crew member and slowly rub up his leg, moving slowly
seductive movements before moving with frightening speed to kill another crew member
Sneaking up behind he. The slow movements betray abroad
pure cruelty.
The film is a study in terror. It may not be as action that
other films in the series but it brings the claustrophobia of being hunted
to a new level.
