Then you meet Tyler Durden, a man that shows you that not only can you live without material needs but that self-destruction, the collapse of society and making dynamite from soap might not be such a bad idea either.

Faithfully following Chuck Palahniuk acerbic satire, Fight Club presents
the vast emptiness of modern existence is fraught with as

unbridled consumerism, empty of meaning, emotion and life itself-a
speck of irony, consumer-oriented fashion. In another vein of

Beauty, Fight Club is exploring solutions to the real existence of sleepwalking
that plagues modern life. The film is violent, but it is not
gratuitous violence, and any critic who claims that the film is promoting violence
has lost the entire point of the film. A very black comedy,
is sure to provoke much conversation-is certainly a movie to see with friends
. The film is fast, dense and
deserves a second look, just to take everything, especially if you have not read the book. In typical style
Fincher, the viewer is left to draw your own conclusions
. Do not feel the impulse to tell how to interpret what he has seen
, appropriate since the movie condemns the victims of the structures
of what society tells us to think and value. My only criticism is that
editing is not as strict as it might be in the middle section of the
film, which carries only a little, then picks up again. Apart from that,
should definitely be an Oscar contender.
