Many people compare "Once Upon a Time in Americas" with "The Godfather."
In my view these two movies can not compare. Both are masterpieces
in its own way, but each has a different style. Not
compare a Picasso Miguel Angel de la Chapelle Sixteen well?
Which is what makes this movie a masterpiece? Well, first
is director. Sergio Leone is a true master when it comes to
creating a special atmosphere, full of mystery, drama and surprises ...
is one of the few directors who understands the art of cut a
film so that his stay focused until the end.
The way the film was cut is also why many Americans
I do not think that this movie is very special. There are three versions, but only
the European version is how the director imagined it to be. The

Decade of 1930 - 1960), but I wanted to mix these three periods. The study
cut the film in chronological order, losing much of its originality and for this

the way Sergio Leone saw him, you have to make sure that

The second reason why this movie is so great is the music.
Ennio Morricone, who is regarded as the greatest writer of film music ever
did an excellent job. Along with images, music speaks for itself
in this movie. Occasionally there is not said a word, but
music and images of their own to tell the story. He understood perfectly
Sergio Leone and composed what he wanted most of the music even before the
the film was shot.
Last but not least, there is also the acting and screenplay. The actors all
did an excellent job. But what else can you expect from
actors like Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci ... They helped make this movie as big as
is putting greater effort into it. The script helped them with
. It took twelve years to complete, but has not left any details
intact. The writers really thought of everything when creating.
I really recommend this movie to everyone, but especially to people who
like the gangster genre. When you want to see the film, best
rest assured that you will have time to do so. This is not a film that is
ended after 90 minutes. You should be able to stay focused
for 3 hours and 47 minutes, which certainly will not be easy
during the first 20 to 30 minutes. Some scenes at the beginning only fazer sense when you've seen the end of the film. But when you are able to
stay focused, you'll find this one of the best movies you've ever seen.
Since then, and I was rewarded with a deserved 10/10.
This film is a profound expression of truth in relation to
friendship and betrayal. Noodles, played by Robert De Niro and Scott Tiler (
during childhood), is a simple man and a bandit with a creed: the battle can
around the world but never betray a friend. In the course of this movie
experienced various pieces of Noodles life, from childhood, through
adulthood and old age. We learn what happens to his friends, his enemies
and love of his life, Deborah. The time is long considered
Noodles including children shortly after the turn of the century,

the true essence of the story becomes clearer and a sad and beautiful tapestry
comes in sight.
This film is a real masterpiece, expressing a profound statement on
friendship and betrayal, with fantastic acting, writing, directing and
music. There is a short, two and a half-hour version of the film
release that is a disaster. It's like trying to understand
a jigsaw puzzle with half the pieces missing. The original four-hour film
can be seen and enjoyed several times and each time the viewer will see
something new.
