Divorce mediators John Beckwith and Jeremy Grey are business partners and lifelong friends who share one truly unique springtime hobby—crashing weddings! Whatever the ethnicity of the wedding party—Jewish, Italian, Irish, Chinese, Hindu—the charismatic and charming duo always have clever back stories for inquisitive guests and inevitably become the hit of every reception, where they strictly adhere to their proven rules of wedding crashing to meet and pick up women aroused by the very thought of marriage. At the tail end of another successful season of toasting brides and grooms, Jeremy learns that the daughter of Treasury Secretary William Cleary and his wife, Kathleen, is getting married in what is sure to be the Washington D.C. social event of the year. After infiltrating the lavish affair, John and Jeremy quickly set their sights on two bridesmaids, Claire and Gloria Cleary. With the lavish reception in full swing, Jeremy works his game plan to perfection in seducing Gloria, but John's flirtation banter with Claire is unexpectedly impeded by her pompous, Ivy League boyfriend Sack. Having uncharacteristically fallen hard and fast for Claire, John convinces a resistant Jeremy to bend the crashing rules and accept an invitation to an extended weekend party at the Cleary family compound. Once at the palatial waterfront estate, John and Jeremy endure a multitude of comical mishaps at the hands of the dysfunctional members of the Cleary family, but also learn a few unexpected lessons about love and relationships.

Usually, when I walk into a comedy which I hope laugh. I was hoping that
laugh with this movie ... but not as I did. This film was the comedy
that everybody speaks. I believe it will be
Animal House of the new era. It will make you laugh and mourn
laughing. The plot was ingenious and very clever. It's like kind of
From the Old School with a different twist. I felt that history was a history
that everybody likes. This is a film that barely begins
and does not stop until they are finished. He was great. The new team is
Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn. Both starred in "
Starskey and Hutch", the two never had any screen time together. With "Wedding Crashers
" have time to screen throughout the whole thing and
really make a great team. They are the next Chris Farley and David Spade
. They really know how to make people laugh, which is
something not very common, at least one day now. Overall, I loved this movie
, so it should everyone else.
There was an advance screening this Friday night. Hilarious movie does
Justice. You know how in most movies you remember the most fun
parties and bring up as you leave the theater? This one,
is difficult to remember the best parts, because there are many of them.
Unlike their previous movies, where Vince Vaughn is generally reduced to the role of
"scene thief ', here we have a full dose of Babaganush, and is
at its best since 'Swingers'. If you liked in his
Swingers / Made person, you'll love. Some of the riffs
he has literally will have you holding your sides with laughter.
Owen Wilson is Owen Wilson. You either like him or not. He is more
the straight man in this movie, although it has some pretty good lines
too, and he has great chemistry with Vaughn, especially in
scenes in which they are struggling. He is the ying yang to Vaughn's.
The film certainly 'wins' is R rating. There is a good dose of
nudity, sex-related hijinks, and f-bombs. But it is not 'gross'
humor to American Pie. It pushes the boundaries, but not only in a "clash
value '. It's really funny.
I saw the movie with a lot of critics, usually the type jaded,
laughs their asses too. Kids will love this movie and
cited that for the rest of the year. Girls will love it too
however, and there is a sub-romantic (sometimes affected, but
forgivable given the way the film is fun), Rachael McAdams doing a great job
Owen Wilson as the love interest. Isla Fischer plays the role of the scene
thief "to it, serving as Vince Vaughn
psycho love interest. And Chris Walken is Chris Walken.
So overall .. inappropriate, hilarious and glorious. Better than
Oldschool. Way better than Anchorman. Best comedy of the year, perhaps
the last couple of years.
