The UK is about to switch its currency from Pounds to Euros, giving a gang a chance to rob the poorly-secured train loaded with money on its way to incineration. But, during the robbery, one of the big bags falls literally from the sky on Damian's playhouse, a 5-year old given to talking to saints. The boy then starts seeing what the world and the people around him are made of. Ethics, being human and the soul all come to the forefront in this film.

After directing the Scots addicts "tale" Trainspotting "and the zombie horror story
" 28 days later, "the last of Danny Boyle is a real departure
. "Millions" is the story of Damian Cunningham, a pious
young dreamer who walks and talks with the saints. When a huge
satchel of money falls from the sky, assumes that came from heaven.
This is a charming film with a story tender, capricious and visual. (Keep your eyes on
saints "halos!) There are moments of comedy, suspense,
and stimulating elements. A scene from San Pedro has a theory give
in how the miracle of the loaves and fishes can have
really happened. Above all, "Millions" may make you think of
be more charitable. Whether Boyle was the original intention is unclear, but
is a very pleasant feeling.
