Download Movie Flags of Our FathersIn February, 1945, one of the fiercest battles of the Pacific theater of World War II occurs on the tiny island of Iwo Jima. Thousands of Marines attack the stronghold maintained by thousands of Japanese, and the slaughter on both sides is horrific. Early in the battle, an American flag is raised atop the high point, Mount Suribachi, and a photograph of the raising becomes an American cause celebre. As a powerful inspiration to war-sick Americans, the photo becomes a symbol of the Allied cause. The three surviving flag raisers, Rene Gagnon, John Bradley, and Ira Hayes, are whisked back to civilization to help raise funds for the war effort. But the accolades for heroism heaped upon the three men are at odds with their own personal realizations that thousands of real heroes lie dead on Iwo Jima, and that their own contributions to the fight are only symbolic and not deserving of the singling out they are experiencing. Each of the three must come to terms with the honors, exploitation, and grief that they face simply for being in a photograph.

Before starting my analysis, let me explain how
and Clint Eastwood will always be one of the biggest icons in the movie. He's cool. The
is so cool to the point of directing a mega-production after a small, intimate film
. He is so fresh that Beats John Wayne in the West''
Idol''la competition. That said, let's go to his mega-production that he mentioned
, a drama called War II Mundial''Banderas of our parents.''

After demonstrate that it can be, apart from a spectacular actor, a spectacular
director (with Mystic River, Million Dollar Baby, and his masterpiece,
The Unforgiven, all of whom in the Top 250), Clint brings us back to
time and history teaches us about some of Iwo Jima. After a horrible and
heroic battle, six men raising a flag and a photograph. That
image becomes a treasure, and the heroes of war returning to their homes
, the same men who wore that flag, they become myths.

The story is mainly about three characters: the honest and sensitive
John''Doc''Bradley (Ryan Phillipe), believes that taking everything
credit for battle because of a photo is wrong, the brave soldier
Rene Gagnon (Jesse Bradford), which is ready to prove who is a hero, even though
not try to reach a true battle, and naive, but strong
Ira Hayes (Adam Beach, in a role that you can probably gather
winks Supporting Actor). The entire film is narrated entirely by John Bradley
(at this time, in old age, played by Len Cariou).
As the film tells us, these are the only ones in the image that reached
war alive.

The film revolves around this image, and also about how these three men
to live after the war. Ira is white racism,
Bradley is haunted by memories of war and their friends who passed away (especially Iggy,
played by Jamie Bell, who was fond of Bradley before his death), and Gagnon
welcomes all media.

The film, however, is very poor. And that hurts a lot to me
We say this, taking into account the appreciation I have for Eastwood. The
becomes a movie worthy of a colossal tragedy epic opportunistic in a drama, with
situations designed to make public mourn. In
the battle scenes, Eastwood is a lion: perfectly orchestrated, are
the high point of this (overlong) photo. However, in the theater, Clint
lost their heels. It gets kind of sad, seeing all these cliches moments.

Eastwood still proves to be a great director of actors. SAC
great performances of the cast, with three in particular. Adam Beach,
perfect as Ira Hayes. Barry Pepper as another magnificent flag raising,
stránka Michael, who was a leader for his men. And Robert Patrick, as
Colonel Chandler. There are still thousands of roles in the movie,
and they all deserve praise.

In conclusion, Eastwood seems to be head over heels in this war
table. However, it is almost undeniable potential for this movie has
for the Oscars. It is technically perfect, no doubt about it. It
beautifully directed, of course. But it is melodramatic, and
war is the same story you've seen a thousand times told again.
The only difference is the power of history teller.---6/10

PS: This film is likely to win an Oscar for Best Picture wink. But, as
revision lends itself to display, it's not my favorite. From
today, I will encourage the magnificent, grasp, A +
gangster drama,''the dead''. Scorcese X Eastwood once again.
I can not remember the last time a film that moved me the way this movie made.
Clint Eastwood presents an honest portrait of war (the beauty of
brotherhood, the horror of walking, literally, through death, the pain of dealing with
survival). The images made me feel like I was getting a real
look at the lives of men who served during World War II. The actors
more then took his own weight. It has made him understand these were
characters who were not acting out, they were representing real men. Often
war movies today are used to actively promote the war or to demonize
. I am grateful that this movie I want to make my own mind.
"Flags of Our Fathers" is a film that will stay with you. Is not that great films
of what are we supposed to do? This film reminds you why movies are important
.
