A boy, Dylan (Michael Angarano), in grade ten with terminal cancer gets a last wish from the Wish Givers Foundation. His makes a new wish which seems a little inappropriate. As his last wish he wants to be with a super model (Sunny Mabrey) for a week alone. At first Nikki (Mabrey) has pity for him but soon it turns into love.

I went to see this movie on the recommendation of a friend and
not know quite what to expect - another was "mere child" or something
better. Certainly it was better. There was humor, but also some poignant
sadness. The casting, performances, photography, and all are balanced
worked well. More important, concerns the very real pain versus
loss of someone dear - something that has faced recently. The
story of characters who appear very "real" reactions to the situation - not
some false. He referred to many of the questions that one faces
this situation - which tend to overcome their fundamental values.
With all this, there are many good laughs. All-in-all, certainly worth seeing
and deserves a wide audience.
I am overjoyed - although not surprising - that this is an indie production
; Hollywood tends to make comedies or schmaltz of
area for "one last thing ...". _This_
Film was impressive in both the simplicity and subtle complexity. Each and every "player"
.... although I prefer participant ... played its role honestly
and an authenticity that is rare. Many people, including myself, have had experience with
cut the disease apparently unattainable dreams, and
odd twists of fate that surprising. This film explores these events
with sensitivity, humor, brutal honesty, and without any real confusion
allowing the actors (or hearing) to fall into a pit of "why me" and
self-pity.
_not_ This is a story of adolescent love. This is a story about life, love, friendship
, dreams, loss, hope and the will to resist and
_live_ life to the fullest, no matter what the destination offers. This is a
_MUST SEE_.
