This film examines the premise of what really would happen if
were to make the first Contact with aliens, and how the Contact was
logically happen.

The protagonist is loosely based on a real astronomer named Jill
Sarro. She focuses on the search for other life almost to the exclusion of
Everything else in his life. When foreigners respond to the first Earth
Interstellar broadcast, which is caught up in hysteria.

Following is an interesting observation of humanity rather than any
Aliens. We learn very little about foreigners in the whole movie. Rather,
We see how people react to the knowledge of this magnitude. The film examines
religious, scientific, military and the international reactions to
The idea that humanity is not alone. I thought they did a fantastic
job representing the scale of reaction of fans to
skeptičen, within a 2-hour movie. The film is a mixture
Reflexivos, sentimental tone with a good pace for action and excellent
characterization. There is a love story thrown in somewhat arbitrary,
But it is tolerable based on the manner in which the protagonist helps
Long delay in the progress towards a deeper understanding of their own
Humanity.

The film ends on a poignant tone still hope, understanding of our human
problems, but accept them. I think the message is that abroad
Contact is the catalyst that helps humanity grow and mature past
Our darker halves.

If you like the movie I would recommend the book. It is much more
Vision of aliens, and extending the scope of application, as there are a number of
scientists involved instead of just one American, and it goes into more depth in
science. It also seeks to demonstrate that religion
And you can get over science. My favorite part is the end of the
Sagan book that shows how God hid a message in the very fabric of
Cosmos, which can only be read when we were ready. Be prepared
However, the book is a little drier than the film and those who
not enjoy reading the magazine Discover may have to dig in to get through
The slower, more scientific parties.
NB: This is a long monologue because I adore Contact
to bits.

I loved the irony this Contact, as well as their religious pictures and
His attention to the fine detail. To see the universe in which it was the scene of opening
Taking breath, and the reason that all emerging from Ellie becomes the eye
Blissfully evident in the light of the end, for his journey
was also a physicist, as well as emotional and spiritual. The photograph was
Magnificent, alternating between sweeps expansive landscape and
Universe, and close, intimate photos of the characters, which symbolizes the
Potential "the unknown," as well an important knowledge of all
are known - in touch with our own people.

The irony is manifested in the way Ellie, who denounced the ability Palmer
Owning a total faith in God, ended up being the defender of the faith,
Although another chapter; could now appreciate the passion of Palmer.
Remember that the biblical verse that when he says something like paraphrase:
"The man who is not willing to give up his life will lose it, but that
ready to win '? This correlates to the way religious images Drumlin
lost their lives in the pursuit of personal success, while Ellie, who admitted that
She freely give up their lives in pursuit of the life of torment questions
Acquired in that memorable and successful. She found inner peace,
having made Contact with two races smart one of the skies, and one of
His own species. Drying cliché alluding to foreigners: "We are not alone '
begins to take on new meaning in a multitude of dimensions in the light of
This brilliant film.

I read this wonderful 'review' on Contact, and I think this next line
Delimits the film, and see why it did that Contact defining film
For me: `[Ellie's] staff will take their journey beyond theory, beyond
knowledge beyond experience, to the realization that the true vision is
Eventually instancia de facto unions and faith. "This duality of life and truth
Compliance arising from the reconciliation against belief is undoubtedly
A theme of the film: demonstrated through the conflicts created by science vs. < br> Religion, coped with faith, vision versus reality.

Novel by Carl Sagan was also a fulfilling pleasure to read. I thought
The message of pi is an absolutely essential element of the book,
implications of this message is that there is one all-powerful 'force'
Behind the universe, brings order to disorder, and this' force '
we could call God. So, possibly, the novel by CS did prove the existence of God.
Perhaps the appellant 'C' pattern in the film, (the "Quad" system of Ellie
Vio near Vega, the sand in the hands of his father and holding on
The end), is an indication of such an order - no matter how big or small
Case, ie whether a message is written in the sky or in the palm of
Hands, the order is present, and represents a powerful force guiding the
universe.

I can not see many, if any, flaws with this movie - really
can not understand why anyone would think that the same or something like
and the brain-numbing gung-ho as `Armageddon '.
It's really an intellectual in the movie with many meanings
Levels - and so stimulating! Perhaps Matthew McConaughey's
Representation Palmer Joss is a bit unbelievable, and
- repeated three times "It is a terrible waste of space" phrase connected Ellie
His father and Ellie to Palmer can be viewed as a little too sentimental at
On the one hand, but on the other hand, it serves to punctuate the potentiality of
The physical universe and the human mind, that in the case of CS, conceived
this book. Jodie Foster is great, but then again, not always? The extraordinary passion
Ellie was exhibited admirable - his innate sense of wonder
Balanced for a stabbing loneliness, born out of the untimely
Item of a dear father.

Because I love Contact his moving humanity, the sense of wonder that
Resuena so strongly throughout the film, and indicates that the strength of
It is surprising that inspired at CS First, and as it seeks
Meaning idealistic, while necessarily the maintenance of
sometimes harsh realities of life (personified by James Woods' little < br> Kitz and skeptical).

For those who hated the end, which obviously lost a crucial component of
The film, the possibility and potential. To get back to Ellie
tangible Proof of the existence of aliens who demolish all the credibility that
Robert Zemeckis tried to create, to display the current American President
generically referring to the case that the message is
discovered, the decision to build the machine, etc. The final draft was prepared
so as to allow a choice for the viewer / reader to be - just how
As CS equally respected in his book, who chose to follow a path
science or religion. We, the public, are allowed to decide what really
Succeeded, and this makes it almost interactive Contact and therefore more intimate
Experience.

Contact has something to say to the whole world, and has real meaning that it can not
Helping beat, but the viewers and readers to some exciting. For
I thought that the film predictable, and before that had not read the book, I
I would say you must be very creative if achieved
Contact anticipate all that had to offer. But for all those who were inspired by both
This magnificent film as I was, here is the most important lesson that
derivatives of both the book and the movie: "For small creatures like us,
Inmensidad is bearable only through love. "This message illustrated dreamed
Carl Sagan, which makes me even more convinced that a book critical
Carl Sagan said:" with terrestrial like him, who needs extras? "
exactly right.
