I was very surprised that Massive Attack's Angel
was chosen to accompany the opening credits, which consisted mainly of CCTV /
voyeuristic shots of a monitoring team in carrying out movements
Harrison Ford is Jack Stanfield and his family. I know it's a cool
track, but Angel is perhaps become one of the most clues in excess
Hollywood and images. But just
clues to what will be Firewall. Cliché and
abused sequences that probably make you scream "Do not
've seen this somewhere before? Firewall offered nothing very new in terms of
plot outline, as it contains scenes of change even Ford's own works
as Air Force One (family survival are threatened, and it is up to a man
to save the day) and fugitive (
the framework and a man run from the law). Ford has already become the convenient
function of a whole-a man of americas hero, that this paper does not offer
surprises at all.
It's basically the standard fare with the usual action sequences and fight sequences
. Stansfield is a VP (network) security of a bank, and has designed software
bank, with other operational tasks as making sure
that the bank can respond to external threats online. However, as the saying goes
, almost 80% of intrusion are committed
knowingly or unknowingly, from the inside, and with a head honcho part of the act, you're sure
that he has the expertise to siphon cash if he wants
. In
comes Bill Cox (Paul Bettany), scheming con man, who with his team of merry men
, Stanfield take hostage the family and lapses in the usual psycho
- Mumbo-jumbo routine. With the family antics to escape,
really wonder whether Cox, as a villain, what is needed to call the shots
in a situation of hostages. While the top could have, is its weakness in
be unforgiving to the hostages that was his downfall,
and make him a very weak film villain. Here is someone who

word of caution however, for those who might think that this movie offers
some cool technology on display. Leave the techno-babble at the door,
no "Firewall" to hack into first, and
"hacking" is actually a no-brainer. And unless the U.S.
offers wireless Internet access as elsewhere, is quite amazing what a
laptop can do in the film. It is expected
seemingly clever twists and moments, but nothing
that really make you go "wow". The fist fight choreography
can get quite intense, however, there is no need to arrive at the end of the road
before you know it is going to emerge tops. It is not exactly a bad movie,
but that does not even have a single sequence that can redeem this image
mediocrity really bad.
Take a grey hair-Harrison Ford, place him in a business suit, and then ask someone to fight
conveniently using all black, and you swear you were looking
any number of films of the past fifteen years .
name Jack Ford character, and you think you reduce it down to
good. On the other hand can be seen simply in SUCKER
"Firewall" and not taking the post of adding Ford-Jones
collection.
In a play-it-safe campaign to show the world that he is not too old, is pushed
Harrison Ford in "Firewall". It has been fourteen years
as, "Patriot Games", in which Ford played a man who seemed the most
hill then, and here is today in the same situations. To refresh your memory
, Ford has been earning a living playing basically the same character
in similar situations for years, thanks to the aforementioned
"Patriot Games", "fugitive" and " Air Force One. "
"Firewall", directed by Richard Loncraine, refers to the story of Jack Stanfield
, played by Harrison Ford, is forced through methods
Bill Cox (Paul Bettany), electronically in the theft of bank
that keeps hackers out of every day. Cox has a bargaining chip,
Stanfield family. Eventually Cox and his team of baby-sit the hostages and
evade its own success. Jack then hunting them down, and none of
this comes as a surprise because the structure of formulas of the image.
Some may find "Firewall" hard to dislike a film because it plays
all cliches. It is not artistic, but rather the realization of commercial films.

, having fewer people to divvy up that abundance
result in a larger payday. Cox has a modest four men who work with him.
Unfortunately for both him and the viewer, their lack of common sense
is amazing. For example, the family dog Rusty, played a prominent role when
bumbling fools take him hostage. There should be a logical
reason for the adoption of Rusty. With his family already captive in an unknown location
;'m sure Jack Stanfield is ready to walk away from
them and start a new life. But wait, Rusty lack too, I now have
to comply with their demands. This ultimately destroys the credibility
the dash.
performances in the film are convincing. Virginia Madsen is good as the wife
relaxed taking into account the situation of his character is put through. My favorite was
role of Paul Bettany as the villain who care sometimes
changing an average of wedge. Despite this, the director Richard Loncraine
has produced a film that is best described as what a computer spitting
if the command was: thriller. All functions to drive the story
Happy in their way. Lacking character nuances, rich in emotion, and
beautiful scenery is good for a film of suspense about robbing a bank. Where
"Firewall" betrays gender is not to provide twists, originality,
or an intriguing history.
