All we have had our share of bad weeks and I have heard many times before
that when it rains is poured, but that does not yet seem
account of what happened until April Epner (Helen Hunt).
A mere ten months after her marriage with Ben (Matthew Broderick), decides that
has made a big mistake. The next day, she goes to work, a school where both she and Ben
teaches elementary students, to find that never appeared
and is nowhere to be found. Within the week continues, adopted its
mother (Lynn Cohen) dies at birth and his mother (Bette Midler)
makes contact with her for the first time. Not surprisingly, the bags under
April eyes are so heavy.
Hunt's directorial debut, Then She Found Me, he started so tragically, but
then attempts to lighten the mood with the clumsy comedy and romance premature
. The combination is a strange contradiction that only
falls flat. Do not feel right to laugh as yet there has been no
time to mourn, but we do not want to mourn either as we have just met these people
. We do not know how they feel or where to go and neither does the
direction of the film. When the dust from April the disastrous week
finally begins to resolve, finally, the film begins to breathe normally
and again finds a particular charm in his voice decidedly neurotic.
however, is more disturbing that is satisfactory.
Hunt While it may be too sentimental as director, she finds a certain hardness
in his style of acting that the film becomes more unifying
source. As to how it is put at this point in her life, she manages

herself, demanding what they deserve and to allow his defence in the < br> just the right moments and only those who deserve entry. Women
deserves happiness, to be in the form of a new love with troubled
suitor, Frank (Colin Firth), or by conducting their desire for a long time

sometimes by their own doing. I usually want to hug someone
The position of April but mostly I just wanted to shake her.
Ultimately, then it undermines What I found is his own air
self-hatred. Hunt spends so much time trying to encourage solidarity with
From April by dumping so many harsh realities in which, in turn, but then when
punishes her everything you have done is try to keep his head above water.
It's hard to feel love for one side on the screen when the woman who put
she has not been formed on their own.
Consider April Epner poor, she married late in life to Ben, a man
to be emotionally unstable. April is the desire to become a mother
it consumes. She realizes his opportunity to conceive is almost zero after the
Ben leaves, what man is a mama's boy, if ever there was one. What is
April to do? As if that were not enough, April
receives a blow when his adoptive mother dies suddenly. She learns the hard way about
that his mother is real: a television hostess selfish. At the same time

Frank, who seems to be the perfect man for her. Is it too much for
From April to hope for some happiness in their lives? Looking at the past
frames of the film one realises that everything he wanted without doubt
comes true.
Helen Hunt, the director and co-adapter of the novel by Elinor Lipman,
do a good job with his first assignment behind the camera. After all,
Ms. Hunt has been behind the action for much of his life. She
shows that she has a voice to be considered, even if this effort does not satisfy
in its entirety.
Mrs Hunt, who appears as Helen, had the difficult task of being in two places
, something that even people with more experience have not been able to pull
. His April shows a strong individual who was born to be a
mother, but nature had a way of denying their desire. Matthew Broderick,
which is seen as Ben, the boyish man, makes an impression of what
this character to life. Colin Firth, a distinguished presence in any
films, plays Frank, the man who cares April. Even Bette Midler, who
April is the biological mother, shows restraint in a role that would have been wrong
played by someone else.
This film shows Helen Hunt debut in a dual capacity. Mrs Hunt
deserves another chance and could only hope for a good source material for
his next project.
