In the year 2054 A.D. crime is virtually eliminated from Washington D.C. thanks to an elite law enforcing squad "Precrime". They use three genetically altered humans (called "Pre-Cogs") with special powers to see into the future and predict crimes beforehand. John Anderton (Tom Cruise) heads Precrime and believes the system's flawlessness steadfastly. However one day the Pre-Cogs predict that Anderton will commit a murder himself in the next 36 hours. Worse, Anderton doesn't even know the victim. He decides to get to the mystery's core by finding out the 'minority report' which means the prediction of the female Pre-Cog Agatha (Samantha Morton) that "might" tell a different story and prove Anderton innocent.

I read a lot of previous posts on this movie. This is one of the best films of
year, and in recent years. This is a perfect blend of action,
suspense, excitement and film-noir. The plot is smart and fresh. People
saying is that there should be no original slept through the film. Tom Cruise is fantastic
, Colin Farrell is surprising, as well as Samantha Morton.
Spielberg once again proves that he is the master of cinema. A truly great director. I will
agree, so it was a little too happy, but not worth complaining about.
This film has nothing to do with product placement as has been previously suggested, is simply a
entertaining, yet realistic vision of what our future could look
as well as , As advertising becomes more sophisticated and intrusive. The film creates
many moral questions and issues, and you should stop thinking.
Is being detained by doing something that really committed havn't fair?
It is worth seeing again and again. As a film lover and critic, I can say is
a surprising film.
Steven Spielberg is at his best direction with this action, adventure.
Tom Cruise is at his best acting as a futuristic police in the race.
I was pleased to see one of the best team leaders with one of the best players
to make a brilliant film.
Tom Cruise plays John Anderton, the head of the Pre-Crime unit
Washington DC police department. This unit stops murders before they happen
, with the help of the "Pre-Cogs." The "Pre-Cogs' are three
psychic
see that the murders before they occur, and Cruise is the one that puts
their visions together to predict the situation, the murderer and
victim of the crime future. So far, the "Pre-Cog" division has been a success, with its six-year span
happening with the murder never fails. Things are complicated
for the future of Pre-Crime when Detective Danny Witwer,
played by Colin Farrell, is sent to inspect the operation. Anderton is
suspicious of him, because he begins to see cracks in the system. When Anderton
believes that the cracks are smaller, considers wrong.
Anderton sees another murder case in the Pre-Cogs' visions and
is shocked to see that he is the man to commit murder. Now that he is
ignition
within his own man, which of course is under the command of Witwer, Anderton
must unravel the mystery of why he has to murdering a man whom he < br> has not even met yet. As time is running out, Anderton found clues that there
a conspiracy behind it. Can you figure out over time, or submitting crime
see its first murder in six years?
"Minority Report" is a film with a fantastic story, one of the best
I've never heard. The actors are great, the direction is great,
Of course, is Spielberg. Even the effects are large, they are done with
ILM.
Roger Ebert said that this film reminds us why we are going to the movies in
the first place, "and I agree with him.
